Answer:	If you are asking how to be sure the light stays on different sized poles: the light is secured by two crescent shaped rubber clamps which are held against the pile by strong springs.

Answer:	I used it off and on last summer and they seemed to last July thru September. I highly recommend bringing it in each night as we left it out and the rain and weather damaged some of the lights. Some of the outside lights won't even turn on now. I ended up purchasing string lights this year and won't be using this light.
Question:	Is it water resistant
Answer:	I just learned it’s not waterproof. Mine will no longer shut all the off after it got wet. The 4 smaller LEDs now stay on in a very dim state. Got about 10 mos out of it so $1/mo isn’t a bad deal I guess lol

How to check the string lights work during Daytime?



A.Completely cover the solar panel ,the String Lights will light up. B.If not ,Leave the solar Panel in the sun for an hour and then completely cover the solar panel again and it should light up.



2.Make sure that the solar panel is NOT sheltered from the sun, because it needs to absorb enough energy from the sun.



3. It is ONLY designed to be protected from the rain. Please do NOT immerse it in the water.



4. The solar string lights has memory function. It will return to your previous setting when you turn it off and turn it on again.



5. The solar panel is with light sensor feature ,so that it can automatically turn off at dawn and turn up at dusk.

Answer:	There is a button on the side that you press to change the light settings. Very easy to use. Good lighting also.
