Answer:	I agree with Dave Beame (1st comment). It's not a tight beam, but a flood. I mounted one about 10 ft out from my front door, which is about 5 ft wide, and one lamp lights the entire door adequately (not brightly). My old 20W halogen (at 10 ft) was noticeably brighter. I think I'll add a second LED and really show off my beautifully refinished light oak door. Conversely, comparing the old 20 W Hologen to this 1W LED pointed up on the brick and out 1 foot, there is very little difference. The Halogen was a gold amber light and this LED is a normal soft white. Very nice. I mounted the light on 3 ft PVC pipe in back of the shrubs to bring it up even with the top of the bushes. Caution, when trimming the hedges. ha

Answer:	I am not familiar with the Brickman connectors, but I used the ones that came with the lights. They are a simple crimp on type that uses metal points to pierce the wire. you can connect them anywhere on your 12 volt two conductor wire powering your lighting configuration. To take a look at the connectors search on Amazon for Moonrays 11604 Cable Connectors for Low Voltage Landscape Lighting, 2-Pack. I also have used this connector also found on Amazon (and Home Depot if you need them today):Malibu 8150-9802-02 Wire Connectors, 2 Pack. I found the Moonrays connectors harder to work with, but less fragile over time, especially if you disconnect/connect them a few times. B
Question:	Do these burn hot
Answer:	Yes, just a standard 12VAC wire-wound transformer, Malibu, etc. will do. It does not have to be specially for LED (diku). Most good old transformers weigh a couple pounds and about twice the size of your hand. (I don't like these new light weight electronic transformers) This should power a couple dozen 1W lamps. For correct sizing compare your transformer with a new one and read the label. It's best to oversize the transformer a little more than just adding up the watts of the lamps. If you are planning a large (many dozen) system, get help.

But they work great otherwise. Does the adapter that plugs into the wall work ok with other things plugged into it? If it does and the remote still doesn’t work, you may have a dud. It we had great luck with ours so I’d get a replacement and try again. Good luck!

Answer:	As long as the occ sensor has a direct site line the unit will illuminate. There's plenty of light to see at about 6ft. If the light is mounted in a high traffic area, the batteries don't last very long. Mine work great in closets & in cabinets.
