Answer:	Well I bought the 150' rope light and it had a plug wired on it.

Answer:	No I don't think so. At least it says a dimmer won't work on these.

Answer:	I’ve not tried it, but splicing instructions come with it that should allow you to do it. If there is a problem it would be in voltage delivered to the extra length. Can’t answer that question.

Answer:	Yes. I just installed mine, and am using the same inline rheostat that I've used on previous strings. One tip: The first time out, crank the rheostat up all the way, and let the bulbs adjust. At that point, they should dim without flickering.

Answer:	Yes, they can. They include the needed hardware to do that. The only thing I am not sure about is the total length that can be put together. I have about 150 feet connected together right now with no trouble. I don't see why another 50 feet would matter.

There is many cut sections on the light stripe (every 3 feet). After cutting, make sure to close off the ends of the rope with an endcap and seal it with sealant or similar to completely close off the strip end to prevent any elements from getting in.

Answer:	Mine do that too. They have a 6 hour automatic shut-off built in as a safety feature. Doesn't say so in the description or packaging, but I've timed it & they shut off after 6 hours

Answer:	That is the lighted length. I installed 6 of these on my patio and just went out and measured them. 78 inches from end light to end light.
