Answer:	It will not harm the LED strips to connect more than 3 strands. I tested 5 strands connected. The first 3 strands all appeared equally bright. Answer:	No, the tubes themselves do not connect. however , you can connect strand to strand string lights with the tail plug ,thanks !
Question:	If each string of lights is rated at 20W, how can the power supply be rated at only 18W
Answer:	I am unclear as to how they came up with 20W. I have about 40 strands of these, and you can plug in two sets on each 18W power supply. I have a power meter for measuring current pull, and two sets together will pull about 15-16 watts. My guess is that they got 20W by calculating the power draw if every LED was on simultaneously at full brightness.
