Answer:	With the lantern standing on it's top and the bottom removed, iif you look into the lantern battery compartment, you will see a stem sticking up in the middle . That stem is round with a raised pointy area on it. Look at the bottom piece and you will see a hollow stem sticking up that has an opening with a matching pointy area. In order to put the bottom on the lantern you have to match those two pointed areas together , slide the bottom in and then twist clockwise.. If you don't match the stem in the lantern to the hollow tube in the bottom piece they won't go together.

This is good light, it is NOT a good light for emergency unless you insert a piece of thin cardboard to block one of the contacts.

Answer:	I have never completely drained the battery on mine while car camping. I suppose it would power the lamp on low for 10 or 12 hours that is just a guess. I have never used it to charge a phone either. It has always been enough to light the tent and chores after dark then charge back up the next day on the car 12 volts.

Answer:	The description from Amazon says 10.6 ounces, so way under 1 pound (which is 16 ounces).

Answer:	On maximum brightness (all three lights on) my unit is pulling 1300 mAH. The cells provided are labeled 2200 mAH. There are two batteries connected in parallel. Two times 2200 mAH equals 4400 mAH. 4400 mAH divided by 1300 equals 3.38 hours. However as the voltage drops the amps being pulled also drops. You are probably looking at 3.5 to 4 hours on high. But don't run your cells completely down. It will drastically shorten their lives. As soon as you notice any dimming at all, stop and recharge or swap out the cells for a charged set.

If you want something that is skid proof I would suggest the much thinner, almost transparent sheets you can find on Amazon. I have those on my wooden kitchen table and use as a work surface. They don't move at all!

Question:	Can you charge the solar panel (by sun or usb) without it being connected to the string of lights
Answer:	they are very fragile & break easily; depending on your definition of "shatter" ... they do break into small pieces

Question:	Can’t get the lights to come on. I’ve charged them like it said and waited till it got really dark and still nothing. What am I missing
Answer:	NOOOOOO don't do it! get u some they are called GAME LIGHTS its what I have in mine they are actually lovely u can go rom disco to solid color fades I love mine get them in sell tho in ware house solar game lights don't pay over 12,,,,,,,,,,,,I have 28 ft pool and have 4 like to have 7 more1 lve them

Answer:	Yes there is a button I push to turn it on or off when I don’t want them to automatically come on at night.
