You can exchange bulbs for variety but the bulbs must have equal or lower wattage levels, they cannot be a higher level. The strands have two prong plugs and only work with 110v outlets.

SETTING UP-

Set up is very easy, just hang the lights as desired, in canopy formations or straight across the space.

2. Where to buy spare bulbs or fuse?

This incandescent light bulbs normally runs for 1000 hours, if you need more spare bulbs, pls search B00R25V92Y for replacement bulbs. If you prefer long lasting bulbs, pls search B07DN94P21 for led replacement bulbs. Fuse type is 125V 5A, each set comes with a spare fuse stored in the male plug.

3. If one edison bulb goes out, will the rest stay lit?

These light strands are connected in parallel, so one bulb broke or burnt won’t affect the rest bulb.

4. Are the porch string lights waterproof?

Yes, these products are IP44 waterproof. You can use the string lights under normal weather conditions.

5. Does the strand come assembled or do you have to screw in the bulbs?

G40 25FT strand come assembled. Tips: G40 Edison light bulb made of glass. Please install strands first with bulbs removed at the desired location then put bulbs into sockets to avoid damaging.

6. can these indoor string lights be used on a dimmer?

G40 string light are dimmer compatible, it can be used on a dimmer.

Answer:	Yes...in fact I do. It's a great light...looks wonderful & the ability to change a bulb (including LED) by just reaching up underneath is great. Highly recommend.
Question:	Can you use an LED lightbulb with this light
Answer:	No. There are no "rods" in the corner at all. As for the rest of the light fixture -- it is completely black no other metal colored components. I love the light...it looks great even with being exposed on a daily basis to sun, rain, snow, etc. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	Yes, provided they have the compatible base size which is just the standard light bulb size. I have LED bug lights (yellow) in the ones I put up.

Answer:	I do not recall a warranty card in the box. I own 3 sets of 102 ft. I have had them for a full year in April. They have been out in the PNW elements the entire time...rain, snow and sun. The plastic casing over the LED bulbs are still clear not cloudy. All of the lights still work, are bright (no individual bulbs have dimmed or flicker at all). All black electrical housing is still pliable, black in color intact with no splits. The cord is more like smooth a round extension cord vs the dual flat harder cord as found on other brands. So basically at 1 year it looks just as good and works just as good as the day I put it up. Hope that helps. I would not worry about this brand at all. It’s really high quality. I haven’t bought the lights at Costco since.
