For others, it is not recommended by Spyder to use HID kits, the warranty will be voided in the event a damage is caused by or modified with HID kits. Technically it is possible but modifications may be required to make them work so it is do at your own risk. There are some people online that may have made it work, however it is not guaranteed. As a rule of thumb if you decide to risk the chance, just be cautious on using anything hotter than 55W as it may burn the lens. Answer:	These don't run off a remote control system. There is a switch on the bottom that is either "on" or "off". When switched into the "on" mode, it allows the battery to charge. As it begins to get darker, the solar panel senses no incoming current and automatically switches the light on. I always leave mine in the "on" position and they run every night, all night long. Very user friendly. If for some reason you don't want them lit, you would need to flip the switch on the bottom to the off position.

Question:	How do you set the modes on these light? I think mine only has on and off? How do you set the motion activation
Answer:	As far as I can tell, you can NOT set the motion. I have purchased 4 of them, and put in various places and my dogs trigger the motion, so I know where they are in my yard. On/Off switch only. Sun has to charge the light for the motion to switch on.

Answer:	When I received them they were charged. I put them up and since then they only ran out of charge once. It was a very windy night ant the lights are near a tree that was blowing around from the wind and as they should with motion they go on. How long they lasted I don’t know but by the next evening they were working again.

Answer:	Through the night for the most part on a full day charge. I had one that fell off its perch and landed on the solar side so it did not charge and did not light that night. Question:	Can you make the light strip that is 3.28ft longer? if so, how do you do that? what connector do you need to buy to connect another light strip to it
Answer:	We cannot using any HID or LED headlight bulbs in our headlight due to DOT compliance. Technically ALL aftermarket HID and LED bulbs are not DOT compliant which is why our headlights come with halogen bulbs. There are halogen bulb upgrades you can purchase at any local auto parts stores. The headlight uses an H1 bulb in the high beam and H3 bulb in the low beam. Generally you don't want to use an HID bulb in the high beam due to the warm up time to get the high beams fully powered up.
Question:	Mine keeps switching from motion sensor mode, to always on. What is causing this, and how do I prevent it
