Question:	How long does the light stays on in dim light sensor mode
Answer:	Mine lasted around 3 hours (3 out of 8). One is completely dead (all the time). 2 last from 30 minutes to an hour. The other 2 last a little over an hour. By the packaging, it looks like it takes 20 hours to fully charge so you can only get the maximum time every 3rd or 4th if you do not use them in between charges, and they get full sun during the day (a week or longer if they get partial sun). I'm not satisfied with mine so they are going back after 3 weeks.

Answer:	I tested it and it supports 2x10tb HDDs.
Question:	What is the difference between power position one and two
Answer:	Yes, it can be positioned horizontally or vertically. I have two SSD drives in it and since there are no moving parts, then you could place it in any position you feel like. As far as the two SSDs, I simply kept them as separate drives rather than making them both one large drive. This enclosure is one of the best pieces of computer hardware I've bought in some time. Very well made, very well packaged. Total quality in my opinion. I don't even need to use the power supply since I have it plugged into the Type-C port on my laptop. That was a very welcome surprise, one less power adapter to worry about.
Question:	What is the expected lifetime of the battery
Answer:	Okay, I do own this RAID enclosure and will say that I am absolutely pleased with it. Well built and the hardware electronics are completely USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps). In other words, it's not just a Type-C port connection, the electronics fully support the USB 3.1 Gen 2 Standard. Now, I will say that I have never used the power supply to power the enclosure ever. Why? Because I have it connected directly (with a Type-C to Type-C cable) to my new HP Spectre x360 2-n-1. The HP has (2) USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) Type-C ports. I am able to power the RAID enclosure with the HP and not have to use the power adapter whatsoever. Unfortunately, I have multiple power adapters lying around my computer system. And while I try to be in the habit of using a label machine to print out a label that I can stick on each adapter so that I know which piece of hardware it is for, I failed to do that with the OYEN RAID enclosure. I don't want to try and guess which power adapter it might be and give anyone the wrong information. My suggestion would be for you to go to the manufacturer's website www.oyendigital.com and see if you can contact their customer support with your question. I downloaded the owner's manual but it doesn't give the specs of the power adapter. So try contacting them directly. Good luck, sorry I couldn't be off much help.
Question:	how long id the power cord
Answer:	I use it with SSDs and it is totally silent with them. The only noise you will hear using HDDs is the drives themselves. The case adds no sound.

Question:	One light went out after 6 weeks use, now what
Answer:	Wire series parrallel. Wire output to output and then to amp. I just twisted the 2 wires together to one side of the output. Ohm reading comes out to 2ohm when tested with a meter.
Question:	My lights suddenly stopped working they will blink for 15 minutes and then go dark each night and has direct sun anyone know why
Answer:	This is a raid system. It will, if you connect it correctly with discs inside that are initialized, copy your system faithfuly. Follow the directions that came with it. If you are lost, get a friend that knows better what to do. BUT THIS IS NOT A BACKUP SYSTEM. TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR DATA AND SYSTEM BACKED UP USE AN EXTERNAL HARD DISC AND A PROGRAM SUCH AS ACRONIS. THIS IS NOTHING AGAINST RAID BUT A PERFECT BACKUP IS NOT ITS PURPOSE.
Question:	Is the two spikes metal or plastic
Answer:	It supports all of the modes mentioned. It comes set to normal (2 independent disks) by default. This is changed via a DIP switch and reset button. The procedure is described in the user's manual.
Question:	My flag pole is 40 feet high, will this shine on my flag
Answer:	It has to be the same RAID type. this says 0 & 1 for this device. so if the ones you're currently using are 0 or 1, should be ok.
