Answer:	They are intended for and work best in DIRECT sun light solar to recharge. They have a lithium battery they will still put out light if not in direct sunlight BUT obviously with no direct sunlight at all I think it is the opposite of the intention of the unit.

Question:	Is there anyway to bypass the security light and use it as a regular light- easily
Answer:	Not sure what you mean but the light is really bright and comes on when someone is near. All you have to do is put it high enough so no one can reach it. I have one one on the second floor bedroom window and on on first floor above my window both are facing my driveway they both come on when anyone walks there it shows both sides of my cars. I also have a survailance system with 4k cameras to view. My neighbor and I each have some. We had problems with breakins to vehicles but since we got those non on our Street You would have to ask an electician about that.

Answer:	They are solar, so they have a dim light that is always on when it is dark. When motion is detected a brighter light turns on for about 20 seconds.

Question:	How do you set the modes on these light? I think mine only has on and off? How do you set the motion activation
Answer:	As far as I can tell, you can NOT set the motion. I have purchased 4 of them, and put in various places and my dogs trigger the motion, so I know where they are in my yard. On/Off switch only. Sun has to charge the light for the motion to switch on.
Question:	how long do these lights take to charge
Answer:	When I received them they were charged. I put them up and since then they only ran out of charge once. It was a very windy night ant the lights are near a tree that was blowing around from the wind and as they should with motion they go on. How long they lasted I don’t know but by the next evening they were working again.
Question:	What is the mode button in the back for
Answer:	The instructions that came with my pack said there is only one function: when dark detect motion, light for 30 seconds. The mode button is only functioning like an on & off button.
Question:	Why did they go over 17.50? Yesterday they were in
Answer:	Because that was yesterday, and today is not yesterday.

Question:	How long does the battery last if fully charged? Asking in case we have cloudy days
Answer:	Three to four days
Question:	Also is there a tab that needs to be removed off battery first? Maybe that’s why not working
Answer:	No tab to pull. I have 4 of these. Push the switch on the on positions and the lights will briefly light up showing they are working. The. When it gets dark, if there is sufficient charge and there is motion they will light up for motion. They will remain lit for a minute after the motion.
Question:	How much sunlight is needed for the solar lights to operate properly
Answer:	The solar light need 6-8 hours charging in sunlight.
Question:	Do they just charge automatically if they are in the “ON” position
Answer:	Yes. They are brilliant. I’ve had them on a tree outside for two months and each night they blink and shine. Just tied the little solar panel to face the sun and that’s worked perfectly.
