Question:	How do you set the modes on these light? I think mine only has on and off? How do you set the motion activation
Answer:	As far as I can tell, you can NOT set the motion. I have purchased 4 of them, and put in various places and my dogs trigger the motion, so I know where they are in my yard. On/Off switch only. Sun has to charge the light for the motion to switch on.
Question:	how long do these lights take to charge
Answer:	When I received them they were charged. I put them up and since then they only ran out of charge once. It was a very windy night ant the lights are near a tree that was blowing around from the wind and as they should with motion they go on. How long they lasted I don’t know but by the next evening they were working again.

How to turn on the solar motion sensor lights?

🌹Cover the solar panel on the top of the light by your hand or put it upside down, then use the pin to insert the on/off hole to PUSH the switch to turn on the light.

🌹If the solar motion light doesn't lit up, please charge it under direct sunshine without any shelter for 1-2 sunny days.

🌹It doesn't lit up during the daytime or when other light shining on it at night/dusk since the solar light has built in light-operated sensor element.



OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:



1. Unlock and Activate the Device:

The internal battery is locked from factory for safety shipment, so users have to use supplied key pin to click the “on/off” socket and unlock the battery and lighting system.



2. Charging via Solar Panel:

Please install the solar motion sensor light face south and make sure the solar panel can get the good sunlight directly without any shelter or glass. Normally it can be fully charged in one day under ideal bright sunlight.



3. Night Sensor Function:

It will auto turn on dim light when in darkness or at night and auto turn off when in daytime or bright area.



4. Dim Light Mode:

In order to save power, it will auto turn on Dim Light when no motion over there, but the brightness also can work as signal light. Bright Light Mode:

With the solar panel being separate (and with a very long cord at that), you have a lot of flexibility in where/what angle you point the light and/or censor. Wish there were a way to add pics when answering questions. I mounted one of mine very high but then angled right to shoot down deeply and only onto my hatchet target and was able to avoid blasting all the neighbors with it. Love these lights and now own four.

The careful observer of this product will notice that Heath Zenith reduced their warranty on their "dual bright" motion sensors from what was originally 10 years to 2 years if that tells you anything.

Answer:	Its an outdoor fixture..so, yes it is made to take outdoor weather however it must be installed properly. Now, with that being said; I have been using this brand for over twenty years and some will last 3 years others 10 years...Its generally the motion sensor portion that will fail!! Hope this helps..
Question:	does this light come on at night when activated, and not in the daytime
Answer:	The light only activates at night and not during the day - unless it is really overcast.You can make your sensitive and distance adjustments during the day - and the light does not come on but you will se a small red light blink instead - to let you know when the light would come on.I really like these lights, I have used 3 of them for many, many years and only recently just replaced 2 of them - the plastic covering over the sensor eventually gets brittle and cracks when you press on it - but the rest of the unit will hold up forever.
