Answer:	It sounds like you either have an overload problem with the LED's you're trying to power or it's possible that one or more of the LED's themselves have developed a defect which is causing it to heat up. You need to check the LED's very closely, check you're wiring very closely. Look for loose connections for one things, a loose connection will cause an electrical system to heat after it has been under load for a period of time. Without a diagram of your setup, I can't do much better. If you used this power supply with no problems for a period of time, then the problems occurred, I would look more closely at the wiring, the LED's, etc. before just pouring more power to it. More power will probably solve your problem but if it's in the load on the power supply as opposed to something in the power supply, you're going to burn something out. Then you'll know for sure where your problem is. One last thought, do you solder your connections? These are small amp loads and an un-soldered connection will cause the overall amp load to be higher than one that is soldered. I could talk a long time on the subject but maybe what you see hear will help. Tell Amazon to send me a consultant fee if this helps!!! (Having fun)

Answer:	Yes and No - yes you can power the amplifier with the 12 vdc output but when you go to turn up the volume and get some deep base note hits the power supply may shut down to protect mode. This is due to the lack of reserve power in the output stage of the switching power supply. A battery has a much large reserve and is not subject to protect mode like the power supply is. Even if your battery is doing a good job and the power supply is able to run the amplifier at lower volume it will not work well for a full volume application. Better to stay with the battery and get a battery charger to recharge the battery even while being used by the amplifier. That way you will maintain the reserve power for those deep base notes.

Question:	How do you use a 0 to 10 volt dimmer with these? i opened one up and found the only wires are line voltage in and then led outputs
Answer:	If the flood light is dimmable it will have a purple and brown wire that are normally capped off inside the housing.
