Question:	The motion sensor doesn’t seem to work, even with lux off
Answer:	I mounted one of mine underneath the soffit and it did not work well. The sensor has limited range in the upward direction. So when you have it mounted underneath a horizontal surface It ends up pointing mostly at the ground below and detection is ridiculously poor. I don’t recommend this fixture for such an application.
Question:	how long does it stay on
Answer:	"Switch Controlled" simply means this item is not controlled by any type of day/night or motion sensor. It is turned on and off manually when needed by using the light switch on the wall.
Question:	Is this waterproof? I have seen complaints about the bulbs filling with water. The wall I need to install on does have exposure during storms

Ours is mounted approximately 28 feet high on a wall, we have it angled down as far as it will go. I am sure it would reach 100 feet if I raised the angle! The 19' soffit lights throw light out about 120' I can see my neighbors yard just fine. I only had them up for two weeks so far but we love them.

Answer:	I have not experienced a power outage to answer that question, which is a good one! We have a back up generator that has a 20 second delay before it comes on. I don't know if the doorbell would handle even that. That is going to be a nuisance as I have taped the doorbell to the vinyl siding and would have to remove it to syn it with the bell again. Now I am not sure this doorbell is going to be a good thing! I have always had a plug in ringer and a battery operated doorbell in the past.

DUSK TO DAWN MODE

Put the "Mode" switch at D2D position.

Function:

• Light turns on automatically at dusk or night and turns off at dawn or if it’s too bright for your sensor.
• D2D Mode only works at night. When it's bright around the sensor, it goes off automatically. Except Lux, Time and Range doesn't work while using this mode.

Sensor Sensitivity

• For setting ambient brightness value to differ from daytime to night. If the ambient brightness value exceeds the setting Lux, it is defined as "daytime"; otherwise it's known as "nighttime".
• Position 0 equals 3 Lux, Position ∞ equals max Lux and it's always regard as night no matter how bright around the sensor.
• Lux setting only works in Auto Mode and D2D Mode.

Detecting Range

• Rotate the knob to adjust the sensing range to max ca. 50ft motion coverage.
• When you mount the light over 7.8ft, please adjust the sensor upwards and set max range to increase the coverage area. Time setting only works in Auto Mode.
• Range setting only works in Test Mode and Auto Mode.

Stand By Time

• Time knob is used for setting working time from 1-10 minutes when it detects motion.

Answer:	I would say about 60 or so I have it mounted my garage and it lights up Workshop in a storage building
Question:	Is it flexible enough to be installed on a soffit
Answer:	Yes, they can be mounted under eaves and soffits. Because the light pivots are a little limited, you’ll just need to put some thought into how you position the lights orientation when you’re tightening it up.
