Question:	how wide are the strips and what l shaped connectors would you recommend for use with these strips
Answer:	The strip comes with a dimmer already wired into place. This dimmer works OK, but the dimmest setting is brighter than some might want. But this will not work with a normal dimmer switch. The reason has to do with how LEDs work compared to how incandescent bulbs work. Most dimmer switches are meant to be used with incandescent bulbs, and they vary the voltage sent to the bulb. Lower voltage means less light. But LEDs run at a constant voltage (12V in this case), and they are dimmed by circuitry that switches this constant voltage off an on many times a second. The ratio of how much of a second the voltage is on vs. how much of a second the voltage is off makes the LED dim. This is called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and your normal dimmer will not do this. And if you're wondering about the dimmable LED bulbs that you can put in your house lights, these have electronics inside the base that handle this. Your house lights run on 120V AC, and the LED runs on 5V or 12V DC, so the light has to convert the 120V AC to the lower DC voltage anyway. They just add a little more circuitry to detect that your dimmer switch has lowered the AC voltage to 80 volts (for instance), so the converter still outputs the 5 or 12 volts necessary for the LED, but it add PWM to "dim" the LED inside.

Answer:	I love these candles. They don't work with a remote. You have to unscrew the bottom to put in your batteries and on one side of the battery area is a switch. Answer:	Don't know that particular switch but has worked well with every type of dimmer switch I have in my house multiple different types.

Answer:	Using alcohol beforehand would help especially if you have soldered wires on as it will remove the flux. Some methods listed best to worst : Coat the cut area and wires in epoxy. cover with standard heat shrink for aesthetics. This method would seal the area and add a mechanical strength to a wired joint. Adhesive filled heat shrink. 3/1 shrink ratio would be best. Liquid tape. cover with standard heat shrink for aesthetics. Not really recommended, but a bare minimum: Good Electrical Tape(3M Super 33+ or Super 88). cover with standard heat shrink for aesthetics. If you use electrical tape, please make sure you you are using it in an area that is indoors and not someplace that it can get wet or touched. If there is any risk of water or human interaction, I would recommend a GFCI be used in the circuit.

Answer:	Hello, you may need a fabric glue to attach these lights to the soundproof booth. The glue of these lights is not that strong for this kind of surface.

Question:	Is this available in shorter lengths
Answer:	There are cut marks every 3 LEDs, but exposed copper pads only every meter or so. If you cut anywhere but the exposed pads it will be very difficult to get a good electrical connection. You will need a connector that can pierce the coating (I haven't found one yet) and make contact. I've even tried scraping the white top coating off, but even when it looks like you've gotten it all, it still won't make contact. I've sent in a support request, and unless there's an easy but non-obvious fix, I'm going to return these and get some with exposed copper pads every 3 LEDs.
Question:	can you link two of these together
Answer:	Hello, no you can not connect multiple strands. It doesn't have an attachment for it. You can only cut to size on the marked sections of the light strip.
Question:	Is the strip width 8 mm or a 10 mm
Answer:	Yes you can. I have mine connected to a smart plug. Works great.
Question:	Can you cut the strip shorter
Answer:	Depends on the width of the cabinets. I have 2 sets of cabinets separated by an oven as well with a total width of 10 feet. One set of lights was enough for me. If your measurement is wider you will need 2 sets and 2 outlets to plug it in. You can not attach light strands.
