Question:	How deep is the mouth of the clip? Meaning how far into a desk does the tip of the clip reach
Answer:	This is a pretty nice size clip, there should be no problem at all clipping this to any desk, I use it for my bed headboard which is very difficult to clip and this worked perfectly.
Question:	How long does the led last? must it be replaced periodically
Answer:	LEDs last between 50,000 and 100,000 hours
Question:	Does it get hot to the touch
Answer:	The light does NOT get hot to the touch at all. The light itself works well. The only problem with it is that the prongs on the power cord are a little thinner than standard prongs on other plugs and they sometimes fall out of the power receptacle.
Question:	Can this be used in a switched outlet so a wall switch can turn it on or off
Answer:	yes it can. i did a test for you and plugged into a switched outlet. turned it on and off with the wall switch after leaving on the light. however the dimmer is part of the switch so it's only going to stay on the mode you leave it on. you can keep the switch by the light itself and run an extension cord to the switched outlet and adjust setting when you need to. i think any of the touch lamps will work with a switched outlet . i'm guessing they would shut down and you'd have to touch the lamp again to turn it on after turning the switched outlet on, so this is a great choice for you. i recommend it 100%. awsome product! if i ever need another i would buy this one again.

Question:	I need to buy a 10ft cable, should I go for the mini or micro, I could not find the specs in the manual. Thanks
Answer:	It uses a USB micro connection for charging. Mine came with a short 2 foot cable and power adapter. My battery has been lasting hours turned on after a full charge.
Question:	Can i leave the usb cable plugged into an ac adapter and use it as a headboard lamp
Answer:	After the lamp is fully charged, I unplug it from the lamp and wrap the cord around headboard so that it is in my reach when needed. If you can't do this I would assume you can find another way. My cable is left plugged into the adapter and lamp clamped to the headboard.
Question:	My lamp turns off after a few minutes. even when it is fully charged. Is there a timing setting
Answer:	I've had this problem with mine, but it goes away if I use the switch on the side to shut it off and then on. Then it doesn't show this behavior, but if I shut it off and then on again, sometimes the problem will return, and I have to cycle it off then on again to fix it again. Once it's on and I confirm the problem isn't present, I only turn it off and on with the button on top and avoid the switch. Try cycling the on and off to see if it'll fix the problem, might take more than one cycle to get it functioning properly though.

Answer:	I don't know if the white light blocks the blue light. It is definitely not bright enough to light up the room.

Answer:	They’re 100% cotton and durable. Very comfortable too. I wear 5 a week as undershirts and they are going on 4 years I think without holes or stretching of the neck.
