Tile uses Bluetooth to establish connection between a Tile and a mobile device. Compared to GPS, it's less battery intensive and is a better fit for our customers. You can make settings with a Premium that will remind you ,that you left something behind,(via cell text). Premium will also show you a map of where the last place your item was while you were last in range of it. You can then go to that area and hope your back in range of it’s Bluetooth and Find it! For $30./ year, if it helps me find just one item that got lost,(and had a Tile ), It would be worth every penny.

Question:	Is there any warning that your battery is getting low on the Tile Pro
Answer:	Nope. If you don't check them frequently you'll only find out your batteries are low when the app tells you the item hasn't checked in for a few days/weeks. That's the achilles heel for these things. When you actually lose something and need to use the app to find it- then it will tell you the batteries are dead. I'm buying a new set of keys and key fob today for my car because the battery died and I didn't realize it until my keys were lost. I paid for the 'premium' version to see my tracking history and looks like the battery has been dead for a month. I would have really liked a warning that the battery was low before then. I then found out 4 of my other tiles have dead batteries, but the battery replacement service is based on time and not actual battery life so I had to replace all those batteries on my own even when paying for the premium service. So unless you're checking the battery yourself every day you're out of luck when the battery dies. I bought 8 tiles total last year, pro and regular and only half of the batteries lasted a full year. I would replace them every 6 months on a high value item like car keys.

Question:	Do samsung phones still have the issue where the phone forces the tile app to go to sleep even though the os is set to never allow tile app to sleep
Answer:	Yes. September 2020 and this is still a problem. I can never locate my phone with my key tag because of this. I have set the app to be able to locate on the background. In phone settings I have set it to 'never sleep'. Samsung and tile just don't get along. However, finding all the other stuff I lost works just fine. Just re open the app.

Question:	can these be fired in a kiln
Answer:	Mine stands up. I over packed it and sometimes it would fall forward, but with the other bag on top it stayed put.

Answer:	I have the mustard colored set, the roller bag is what I would call a medium size and the carry is just smaller than a laptop bag..

Answer:	There is a fabric band across the back of the smaller bag that allows it to be placed over the handle of the large bag in order to pull the bags together.

Answer:	The bag I received measured 21 x 14 x 9 (unpacked, wheels to handles). Packed it would be slightly deeper than 9" (perhaps 10" up to 13", if extended ). Delta Airlines allows carry-on size of "approximately 22 x 14 x 9." Approximately means approximately. An inch probably won't make a lot of difference. Other airlines vary in carry-on requirements. Question:	Are any model design possibilities included in the set
Answer:	If you are asking whether there are any instructions for building- only the examples on the box illustration are shown. However, this is by no means a deterrent. The children I work with create all kinds of things, no two alike, and they do this by exploration- the best learning tool there is. There are no shortages of creative possibilities that arise out of just playing with the magnetic edges and seeing how things work. The children have even solved problems like sagging roofs on a large structure by seeing that they need to build a column or supports to hold it up. They are the most in-demand toy in my play therapy room. I had to get another set for the waiting room!

Answer:	All ages. My grandson is 4 and grandaughter is 6. They both love them and I have fun as well playing with tiles .I got the 100 piece for my grandsons birthday. My grandaughter is asking for a set for her birthday. I will be purchasing another set in March.

Answer:	We’ve used both and PIcasso tiles are my favorite - in large part bc they’re half the price so if you have multiple little kids, you can afford twice as many for sharing.

Answer:	I would like to know the true answer to this question as well. Only thing I can think of is that kids love them SO much, they decided to make them super expensive for what you're getting so as to make a huge profit margin. I mean, seriously? $1.20 PER TILE?? Seems ridiculous to me. The cheapest per unit alternative I've found is the 100 pc set by Playmags. Even that seems incredibly steep for me at $90... That's most of my budget for Xmas. It's a shame they make them so spendy.... So many more kids could be enjoying them. Any comment on this topic, Magna-Tiles reps?

Answer:	These need to but glued over a drop ceiling as the dimensions are smaller than the panels that fit between the rails. Ours turned out great and probably nicer than drop-in panels would have looked, but unless you have somewhat significant DIY skills you may want to find another product that is the same size as your drop-in ceiling.
