Answer:	Hi Dennis. The overall height of the floor lamp is about 52". If you place the base against a wall, the head protrudes out about 20". Here's the deal on this lamp: if you plan to use it solely on battery power, i.e., cordless, it is a bad product. It eats batteries and the lamp power is poor. But if you use it with cord and plug it in, it is a very good lamp and provides perfect light for reading, writing, etc. The lighted area is somewhat small, but adequate for over-the-shoulder lighting for reading, etc. Hope that helps. Answer:	Hello, UV rays actually cannot penetrate deep through solid, so it is chemically not too possible to fully cure black pigmented gel polish , due to black pigment also absorb UV radiation as well. Unless it is in extreme high Watt. So dark color gel could only applied in thin layers. Or else only the top layer of gel solidify and the gel will occur in ridges. Thank you
