Answer:	No. The lamp is completely UV-free and doesn't produce any heat.

Answer:	That is a good question! Though the answer is "it depends." The quality of the warm light is attractive anytime and my preference in most low-light situations. The "cool" light is a bit like those classic twist LED light bulbs, often called "daylight," which I always found unappealing! Harsh and *NOT* natural. This lamp's white light is better than that. And, the white light is better, or holds up better to natural light. If you lived in excellent sunlight, natural light conditions, white light would be your go-to more often I think. But that's probably not your circumstance. It is not mine. So my answer is: I am using the warm light primarily during these winter months. [Located 47.6 latitude] If I have the lamp on during afternoon light, I will switch it to white light. Also, if you are using this for light therapy purposes, you probably will use the white light for x number of minutes -- as prescribed.

Answer:	yes, I think it does this automatically. You set "sunrise" time for whatever time you want- it slowly ascends to full brightness for a certain amount of time. if you want it to come on during day just for whatever reason, seasonal dysphoria, whatever, there's a button that just turns in on to full bright.
Question:	Can the light for the clock be turned off? I don't want any light from the clock while sleeping

Answer:	That is amusing. I get it all over my cuticles. I have been wearing this every day of my life since 1965 and find it absolutely the most incredible product on the market. It keeps my nails strong and healthy. I use it as a base coat and then 2 layers of polish then as a top coat. I promise you if you have less than perfect nails if you keep this on your nails at ALL times within 3 mos. you will have lovely, strong, healthy nails. I buy at least 6 bottles at a time. I have told so many people over the years my "secret" I should be paid by them. I truly swear by this product and you will too. I have very long nail beds and get this on them all the time, trust me, it will have hurt you. I have used it on my daughter, then my granddaughters, for years and nobody has ever had a problem.
