Answer:	The 24411 Series is all PLASTIC with 12 LED's. However the 3 batteries in the base give it a nice weighted feel. The 24412 Series has a METAL casing/skin on the base and has 12 LED's. The metal base gives it an even weightier feel and it looks a little nicer than the all plastic model. The 24414 Series is an upgraded model that is slightly larger and has a METAL lower casing. It also has more LED's (23), so it is brighter - and it has 3 light settings (Low - Med - High). The 24411 and the 24412 have just one light setting/brightness - ON or OFF.
