Answer:	The cord has a 120 V AC connector on it. There may be a 220 V version of this lamp, but the one that I purchased was 120 V. The switches in the lamp are pretty light duty; I wouldn't want to risk plugging this into 220 V.

Answer:	It will work, but the results will depend on whether your 50mm lens is a FX or DX lens. This is a full-frame 35mm manual focus camera. For the best results you'll need to use a FX lens, and you'll have to manually focus.
