Answer:	I think, depending on the size of the area, the lights probably don't have enough spread to give good even light. Each cone shape shade makes for very direct light over a small area. I have two fixtures, one I use to light my canvas/easel and paints and one to light my still life set up. That way my work light does not influence my subject light. Hope this helps.
