Answer:	No. That is one of the really nice features. I have had humidifiers before that used filters. It seemed as though the filters were always needing to be replaced. No filter is much better.

Question:	Hi. This fan had light and control remote
Answer:	Yes... We used a 24" downrod with this fan. Our ceiling is over 20 ft tall and we thought to lower it down for max performance. We tried the 36" down rod but found that the fan started to wobble/shake so decided to use a 24" instead.
