Answer:	I don't believe so. it comes with a 3.5" and 6" downrod only. there is no way to flush mount this fan. it is, however, an excellent choice as I noted in my review and a 3.5" drop should work for almost any installation---but not all, I agree. best not to tamper. good luck.

Answer:	This is not a defect. It was made like that on purpose. Think about the fans w-cord. The 1st pull is the highest speed, then you have to pull a 2nd time to slow down the speed, a 3rd time to get to the lowest, and the 4th time shuts it off. Just train yourself that 1 is the highest. Say to yourself, the fastest runner is No. 1.

Answer:	We don usually suggest using a ceiling fan for that high of a ceiling. Due to most companies only have a max length of 6ft. You can purchase a couppler and connect two different rods but we can't say that the fan won't wobble due to the long length.

Question:	The Minka Aire website says this model has a wall remote included but the discription above says no remote included. Which is correct
Answer:	It's very easy. The glass at the bottom is threaded into the housing and will just unscrew with about a three quarter turn. Be careful and gentle as this is glass and the metal it screws into is a bit thin. The bulb inside is a halogen and uses the small candelabra type threads. If it's an old and burned out bulb, just use your fingers to unscrew it. Be sure to make sure the bulb is cool before you handle it. I find the replacements at HD for a little more than ten dollars. Follow the instructions when handling the new bulb. You can shorten it's life if you touch the glass with your fingers. Just carefully screw things back together and you should be ready to go. I think it's a 100 watt lamp that comes with this fan.
Question:	Fan seems to turn on randomly. Will turn it off and after a little bit it will start up again. We had an electrician install it. Suggestions
Answer:	That answer was not in any manual I read. Best to ask the manufacturer. On the lowest setting of mine, I do not hear it, nor is there any feeling of air flow, but the air is well ventilated.

Answer:	We installed the fan ourselves and have had no problems. However, the wall switch is very sensitive. If you press it too hard, it won't work or, if you press it ever so slightly off of straight on, the speed or direction will change. When the direction changes, it appears that the fan has stopped and then it appears to come on again. When this happens, check the direction that the fan is going. If it turns out that this is what is really happening, try pressing very lightly and straight on. Other than that, we have no idea.

Answer:	I would be surprised if there is a replacement glass option for this fan. This would be a question for the manufacturer. To be clear, this is a one bulb 60 watt max tiny fan. My suggestion would be floor lights or table lamps OR a more expensive fan with a brighter light output capability.
