Answer:	Update: My apologies, please disregarded the remarks below because the answer should have been: Don't know because I haven't tried them yet, however, from experience, Soft White usually denotes a yellowish cast light. Cool White is brighter and more towards white, while Daylight is like high noon, the whitest.Yes, its definitely white light. My cover is opaque so the cool white or soft white cast either a pink or yellow light which I disliked. The bulbs are dimmable so adjust to you liking. It did take a little getting use to after years of dim lighting but I really prefer the true "white" light especially in the winter.

Answer:	I looked it up on Google, they state they are dimmable. Heck, for a few bucks give it a try.

Answer:	Actually, the standard downrods from Home Depot and Lowes, etc will not fit in this fan. The problem is the 3/4" measurement everyone uses is the Inner Dimension. Whereas, on this fan they use the 3/4" measurement to the Outer Dimension. Where this becomes a problem is a standard 3/4" downrod in the stores are actually 1" to the Outer Dimension and will not fit in the housing to replace the 6" downrod that it comes with. I am having a difficult time finding a downrod that will fit and I'm about to return the fan considering I cannot find a downrod that will fit and on the angled ceiling I have, a 6" will not fit... This is VERY disappointing that Casa Vieja decided not to keep to the standard sizes and make their housing smaller.

Answer:	The down rod provided is only 6 inches. I had to get a pipe 4 ft long and drill a hole in the end to mount it for my set-up. Not sure about the Max wattage.
