Answer: Sure the tube is made of raw PVC so it is easy to cut . Hack saw , tin snips, chop saw all work great for cutting. For 10' you may want to check the 7.5 foot kit. Most of the time the cover doesn't go all the way to the ground as the copper bends out to meet the outdoor machine. Normal on single story building 7.5 ft kit is perfect fit.

Answer: It depends on the pipe diameters and how many pipes you plan to put in it. I have one outdoor unit that controls six zones through a single pair of copper tubes. It might be a little tight for two linesets with insulation.
