Question:	How can I order with a 7 to 8 ft drop rod to match the fan
Answer:	I would say the finish is downright shiny. Definitely satin nickel over brushed, and honestly, maybe even toward the realm of polished. It's not a mirror/chrome-type finish, but more much more shiny than brushed.
Question:	Can it be flush mounted
Answer:	You CAN hook this fan to the wall switches... I find it frustrating to see people say no and giving misinformation. The fan comes with a receiver and remote, all you have to do is bypass the receiver to get it to work on a light switch, i.e. connect your red wire from the ceiling (which is your live light wire) to the blue wire coming from the motor of the fan. As long as the fan exposes the blue (live light) wire this technique will work on most fans with remotes (I have done it 3 times now on different brands/models - the only time it hasn't worked is on a fan that hid the blue wire inside the motor). This fan exposes black/white/blue from the motor so this bypass will work. Just make sure to cap off the blue wire coming off the receiver, and your good to go.
Question:	The description says the metal is brushed nickel but it looks polished/shiny. Any insight on what it actually is
Answer:	Make sure the blades are installed correctly. If they are then the fan was not made properly and you need to send it back for replacement or refund.

Answer:	It is approx 11.5 ins. I would use 12 in. As a guide.

Answer:	The blades are at about 9 inches, from ceiling to the lowest point. Total hight once istalled is about 12 inches from ceiling to the lowest point (lamp).

Answer:	I just answered my own question. The LED lights in this fan cannot be replaced. I called Lowe's Harbor Breeze customer service department at 1-800-643-0067 and they confirmed this. If you want a bright light, you don't want this fan.

Answer:	I've got an array of 3 of these connected to a variable speed controller (which I think is of high quality... $20 on amazon). It works great. Fan is much quieter around middle speed, it becomes almost silent. Back to full speed with max airflow is needed. My rule of thumb is to dial the speed up to where there is no hum coming from the electric motors (I suspect this sound isn't a good thing, so I dial up speed until it goes away).
