Answer:	Color is 3400°k. Whiter than standard OEM bulbs, but not bluish. Perfect for long distance vision. (Bluer bulbs actually reduce distance vision as the blue coating absorbs a lot of light; and the eye has a harder time seeing in the blue spectrum due to smaller number of rods in the eye sensitive to blue, and that blue focuses in a different part of the eye). Point being, you lose a lot with the "whiter" bulbs. I purchased a set of these in Feb. 2017 and they're still going strong. Especially so, considering that I'm running with DRL on. How To Remove The Ballast?

If you replace the traditional metal halide lamps with this LED cob r7s bulbs , please remember to remove/bypass the ballast before installation, otherwise, it will cause the lamps flicker.

1. Ballast has a black and white wire on the input side (120v). It also has two red and two blue output wires. To bypass this ballast cut all 6 wires.

2. You can then connect the two red wires to the black wire.

3. Next, connect the two blue wires to the white wire.

4. For multiple bulb fixtures, just repeat the steps on the other ballasts.

There are many variations of light bulbs used for the same application. So, please make sure to make the right match prior to order.

To avoid flicker, please try to use LED transformers. If flickering occurs using a halogen transformer, please add 1-3 halogen light bulbs to help stabilize the circuit, because the LEDs consume too little wattage for the system to work properly.

Please be advised in general LED light bulbs are not designed to be left on all night long every day. Extended hours of use every day will dramatically shorten the lifespan of most LED light bulbs due to overheating the LED chips.

What's a Kelvin? Our MR16 and GU10 bulbs are 3000 Kelvin. This represents the "color" (which is based on the temperature) of the light.
