Question:	Is this a 4 pack or 8 pack? Description and product information indicates 8 pack, but the picture indicates 4 bulb value pack
Answer:	Use a mirror to check to see if there are any remnants of the old bulb that my be restricting the insertion of the new bulb. Double-check the model of your microwave to be sure it is the correct bulb. I had to wiggle mine a little to get it to fit into the slot. You should not have to force the bulb in to the point that it breaks.

Answer:	Regular lightbulb base for standard lamps. I know there are multiple "standards", but if it makes it clearer, these work in all my table lamps in the house plus all the overhead lights that don't need chandelier type bulbs or floodlights. So, basic lightbulb. Note: I also have the floodlight versions of these as well (same brand, light type, etc.). I really love them all and have been replacing every bulb in my house with the philips led daylight bulbs as the incandescents and cfls (I hate cfls) burn out.

Answer:	Daylight bulbs are good for elderly folks as they can see better. Other than that, daylight must be used selectively, as it can be unflattering. Lighting is an art, and requires great amount of understanding of your requirements most people don’t know this until the wrong bulb is bought. A CRI OF 80+ is desired, and 90-95+ in certain situations, and your best bet is 2700K Soft White, 3000K Bright White for halogen matching applications, and Warm Glow for dimming applications. Soft White /Warm Glow is closest to standard incandescent

Answer:	Not sure how efficient it is when it goes out under 3 months normal use. Had one of the 6 just go out🤷🏽‍♂️

Answer:	It shows >83+. The > sign means greater than. So they're saying the CRI is greater than 83. The + sign usually means "that number and above" which is redundant; assuming they really aren't trying to say that the CRI is greater than all numbers above 83 since you can't have a CRI greater than 100 since it represents a percentage). Nevertheless, I had overlooked the CRI rating and decided to cancel my order so I can look for similar lighting with a higher CRI rating.
Question:	Mine won’t dim. They claim “Dimmable”. Do others have this problem
Answer:	It's UL rated for damp locations so yes it'll be fine. Remember as in all electronics, no direct water spray.
Question:	How much turndown in light output is expected when dimmed? Will it be as dim as a similar incandescent light
Answer:	And I prefer 5000K. Anything below 4000K ("soft light" or "warm light") just looks like a dingy yellow on everything… like someone's smoked indoors for years. 6500K gets a bit too blue for me. After trying many different color temperatures, I have found 5000K to be the best for true colors; no dingy yellow or blue coloring. When I first switched from incandescent to LED lighting, 3000K to 4000K seemed so glaringly white. That's because I was used to seeing everything with that dingy yellow. But it didn't take long for me to adjust, and that's when I could see the yellow color in anything 4000K and below. 2700K is horrible for me. I like my whites to be WHITE (not yellow, not blue). I like my greens and reds and all the other colors to look true, as if I took them outside. So now I get 5000K for everywhere. I'd especially want that for my kitchen where I prefer it to look clean with the white looking white.

Answer:	I'm not sure how your microwave works, but mine has to have 2 light bulbs in order to dim. Bright is both of them on at the same time, dim is only 1 bulb being used.

Answer:	it is not a dual filament high/low on your mw panel does this with a single filliment bulb.
Question:	is this bulb dimmable
Answer:	It’s not a heat lamp, it’s a bulb to light the surface under the microwave! So nowhere near any of those temperatures, which would cause severe burns.

Answer:	I have them in our dining, living, and bathroom areas and have had no issues. The ones in my bathroom are located above the sinks (about 4 feet above the sink top) and in an eight foot ceiling above the toilet and bathtub areas, and these are all non sealed fixtures and I have had no issues. I do not have lighting in the immediate area of my shower stall so I could not speak to how well they may do in those types of installations - but assuming those installations would be sealed ones - I assume they would do fine there as well.

Answer:	Soft white is best for kitchen, bath, living and dining rooms. Daylight is too sterile and raw looking for anything other than utility purposes: workshop, laundry room, tiny closet, or outside. At most you might want to split the difference and instead of choosing between warm and cold (daylight) white, choose 4100K, but even that high I wouldn't want in the kitchen or bedroom.

Answer:	The alpha character(s) state the shape of the bulb. BR = Bulged Reflector. The number is the width of the bulb in eights of an inch. The BR30 is 30/8 of and inch so 30 divided by 8 or 3.75 inches. I hope this helps you get the proper bulb!

Answer:	My experience has been that LED bulbs always generate far less heat than incandescent bulbs. But LED bulbs do give off some heat. A 60 watt equivalent LED bulb, which is rated as to 60 watts, can safely be used to replace a 60 watt incandescent bulb, even in a totally enclosed fixture. But before going to a higher rated LED bulb, in a totally enclosed fixture, it is prudent to consult a licensed electrician. They will know where the limits of safety lay and can easily install a new light fixture for you, if that is required. This will also "keep you up to code" when you someday have the property up for sale.
