Answer:	I don't understand your question, but I might be able to help. This adapter works to convert an old fashioned bulb that was often used in floor standing lamps and used a large mogul base light bulb which had three levels of brightness 100-200-& 300 watts. The floor lamps usually had a glass bowl open on top towards the ceiling, in my case the bowl was 8' diameter on the top and about 6" deep, for this adapter to work the bowl must have at least a 13/4" hole in the bottom where it attaches to the mogul socket. The lamp shade then sits on the top of this glass globe. This adapter will allow you to replace that large bulb Mogul base bulb with any standard base bulb such as incandescent, florescent or preferably LED which will save you a lot on electricity. The amount of light emitted with the replacement bulb will not equal the amount of light from the old bulb on it's higher settings. Hope this helps.

Answer:	My experience with trying to dim LED lights is that the technology for the dimmers isn't good enough to work properly. My dimmer switch for a bedroom lamp burned out from trying this. Best to use LEDs only for non-dimming purposes, stick with incandescent for dimming. Hopefully this will be changing.

The reason this doesn't ship to CA (while smaller packs of the exact same light bulb do) is because of Proposition 65, related to the cancer warning on the packaging. This SKU doesn't have the warning on the package, while the smaller boxes do. The "lots of dim bulbs in CA" comment was really funny BTW. Maybe they should pass a proposition about that.
