Question:	There doesn't seem to be a consistent answer about cutting. in fact the vendor says both yes and no throughout the q&a pages. help
Answer:	I placed mine on top of my cabinets and needed to cut them and splice them. My cabinets have a gap where my window is. I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TJF981M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to make the splice worked great. I tested the lights before making the splice and they did turn on. I did not test them to see if they had all functions but from the few minutes I did play with the cut section it seemed to have all functions.

Answer:	Yes you can, but keep in mind that the controller can program certain amount of serially connected LEDs that equals exactly one strip, no more, so no daisy chaining. To control 2 strips, you connect strips in parallel, using provided Y (2-to-1) splitter. To control more strips you need to get (3-to-1) or (4-to-1) splitter, so you get star-like configuration. Then with help of additional cable extenders you can organize them in one long strip. Keep in mind the chasing effect will not continue from one strip to another - it will repeat itself in each segment. Also you may need to replace provided power supply with stronger one (more Amps, same 12V) to control more than 2 strips.

Answer:	Not only does it clearly advertise as a 32.8 Foot long Light Strip, they advertise a picture clearly stating, “32.8ft Longer Light Strip 2x5 led strip lights decorates your whole room.” No where does it mention it’s two 16 foot strips that can only be parallel and that you’d need to purchase two of these boxes to actually be 32.8 feet and go the whole perimeter of a room. So the Captain Amazing reply is false, just like the advertisement. Why wouldn’t this company just be specific? Advertise correctly instead of misrepresentation. Let the customer know it’s 16.4 feet and you’ll need to purchase two boxes if you need the whole room or 32.8 feet!!

Answer:	Yes, the strip can be cut. The 5050 LED strip has clearly indicated cut lines. Also, the 5050 LED 3 pin strip can be connected with other 5050 LED 3 pin strips or extension cables using connector kits.

Answer:	I used it on my 85 inch Sony and it works fine. I mounted it all around the back, 6 inches in from the edge of the TV. If you pull the TV out from the wall the light spreads more. My TV is about 2 ft away from the wall. I also mounted my camera on the bottom. 👍

How to Use Alexa Echo and Google Home?

Step1: Connect your Echo dot with Amazon Alexa, download Gosund APP.

Step2: Log in your Amazon Alexa, choose"Skill" then search"Gosund" and click "Enable"

How to control it with phone?

How to control it with iPhone Siri?

1. Open APP, Click Tap-to-Run., then click the symbol “+” in the upper right.

3. Click “Add to Siri” in the lower right, then record your command. For example, you can say: “Open Light”

4.Now you can control the light strip via Siri. Say “Hi Siri, Open Light”, The light strip will be turned on.

Answer:	As of may 28 2017 they do not work with hue. I emailed hue with no response why. The code to manually search for bulbs is not working or not being accepted.

Answer:	It is a 6pk the math must be incorrect per bulb, if you buy a single bulb the price is $14.97 so buying 6 you save about $4. The bulbs are very good and offer a dimmable feature on any light, also controlling mine with Amazon echo through a wink hub, works great.

Answer:	If you get too many lights on one power adapter, they’ll turn off and on and flash random colors. You have to have the right power adapter for the amount of lights you’re using. One would probably work, because you’ve essentially just shortened one circuit. The power adapter for a 32ft kit probably won’t support 49 feet of lights though
Question:	I only need about 48ft long for my project. can i cut strip short? should i cut 18ft off one strip or 9ft off each
Answer:	It's possible for you to cut RGB strip light along the golden mark. After cut, the cutting piece won`t be working at all unless reconnected to the original one with an extra 4-pin connector(not included). Need more help, please contact us via [email protected]

Answer:	If your going to connect long runs of LED strips, it would be better to get your own power supply. DO Not do as one answered hear just double the output voltage, the LEDs will burn out in no time. Instead look for a "Constant Current Driver". I haven't tried the full length I have read, but they said up to 300 ft. Also for longevity of the LEDs your output amperage should be between 1-2Amps(1000-2000mA), less than 1A(1000mA) the lights will be dimmer, but they will also last longer. I have run up to 70ft with 1 driver, with splitters for corners and drops(staircase).

Suggestions for connection failure

1. Please make sure the DHCP function has been switched on in the router setting

2. Please get the router closing to the light bulbs and ensure the WiFi is with strong signal

3. Please check whether the router is overloaded if connection still fails

4. Please make sure the password is correct, or reset the router setting

5. You can also connect the light bulbs with the Hotspot in another phone, that will rule out whether there is any problem with the router.
