Can this bulb be used in an outside light fixture

Answer:

For me they did. Using them with a Eaton Cooper RF9540 dimmer which is a trailing-edge dimmer from what I can tell. All 4 of them made a buzz when dimmed. They do not buzz when not dimmed (though they do still buzz when the dimmer is at max brightness since even when at max brightness the dimmer does not supply 100% power). All 4 of them combined are as loud as a worn-out fluorescent tube. Very noticeable in a quiet room.

Answer:	I am pretty sure that you would need to have a hub, like the Smart Things hub, to get Alexa to talk Zwave.

Answer:	You would will need a smart hub to pair them together.. Without a smart hub the bulb isn't dimmable.

Answer:	IT should work with SmartThings hub. If you're going to use with Alexa, or Google, I would recommend Kasa (TP-Link), no hub required, makes life easier. We do have three of the GoControl in the Kitchen, much cooler than a regular bulb for my wife when cooking. If you really want to use the hub, I can confirm GoControl are reliable, got 7 bulbs total running through our Alarm/hub. Had 4 of them for 4 years now no issues. From more recent experience though, I prefer the Kasa for ease of setup. Hope this helps.
