Answer:	There is a small internal device that acts as a starter to make the bulbs light up. It sounds like that starter has gone bad. Contact Flowtron and send them the unit for repair.

Answer:	I've been using mine indoors for years because I don't really care about the bugs outside... I don't want them in my house. This model whacks bugs day and night. it doesn't stink... the hum is loud. Death to the flying insect.

Answer:	the UV light attracts a ton of bugs at night but day time not so much. The Octenol makes the thing a bug killing fiend but in day time it is lack luster and probably a waste. Every morning it is 100% covered and clogged from mosquitoes and i have to use my data vac to clean it off. I use the 1 acre and 1.5 acre one and both are 100% covered by morning but during the day they hardly kill anything. They work at night well even without the Octenol but it definitely helps to have it. I have terrible mosquitoes here and mine only kills a few so if you are not flooded with them it probably won't do much for you during the day. I have to go outside with bug spray at noon to keep the mosquitoes off -_-

Answer:	I think you are saying a mouse "ate" through the cable? My cat ate through mine - the company replied to my comment saying to get a 5mm cable - however the cable we got apparently isn't enough wattage and basically killed the two seperate functions. Likely will have to replace the unit unless the company can provide a direct link to a cable that we can purchase.

Answer:	Worked amazing I bought two and I only hooked one up. I would buy again. Have it under my patio and killed everything. I live on a lake too so bugs are so bad.

Answer:	It is very good at attracting them, but not very good at killing them. It attracts 500, and kills 25. Made my problem worse. I will buy an outdoor and hang it away from the house to draw the moths away. This is also a relatively low voltage unit, doesn't arc them, kinda cooks them slowly. They fly in and out of the unit.
Question:	The description says 1 year warranty, but the image of the device says 2 year warranty. Which does it say on the actual packaging

Question:	Can these bulbs be used in an enclosed fixture
Answer:	This is definitely LED. Two ways you can confirm this is 1) the glow is uniform - not concentrated around a filament area, and 2) the actual heat generated is very low, which would not be the case for a filament or gas filled bulb. Have had mine for two years and it works wonderfully - no more bugs gathering around and filling up my light fixture like with incandescent bulbs.
