Answer:	I bought one at a big box store to see how these work. Wife then wanted more of them. Battery lasts about two months or so in a four person environment going up an down stairs several times a day. Can be screw mounted to wall if desired. It should be able to detect motion on other side of Glass. However, the reflectivity of the glass where the light is mounted and how the photocell is positioned so as to not be defeated by the glas reflectivity. Might work better if the motion sensor is isolated in a 'tube' the is flush up to glass, so that the lamp reflection does not create a light difference in the inside of the window pane.

Answer:	nope, they only turn on at night when they sense motion in total darkness. I walk by them all day long and they don't turn on, only at night.

(VELCRO Brand Thin Fasteners Tape 15' x 3/4" Tape - Clear) Velcro tape holds well, but is easier to remove from walls if you decide to move the light. FYI - I have used the yellow sleep-friendly version (Mr. Beams MB720A) in our halls and stairways for two years, mounted about 18 - 24" and they are fantastic. Softer, warm glow, but still plenty of brightness for navigating halls and stairs.

Answer:	Cats are not known to thoroughly chew a food before swallowing. They may chew once or twice and then swallow. If the pill is properly placed in the pocket it should allow for the anticipated chewing that your cat would do and still be able to cover the pill. PILL POCKETS are also known for their strong enticing smell and taste which also helps to mask the pill.
Question:	How do you change the batteries if the light is attached with screws
Answer:	If kitty picks it up in their mouth and drops it without eating, it tends to get really wet and sticky.. And my cat won’t touch it once it’s sticky, so I will tear the pill pocket away from the pill and wrap in a new piece and try again in a little bit. If the pill pocket sits out for a length of time it will start to dry up and harden a bit. My cat prefers them “fresh” and soft out of the package. I do not think the taste of the pill will come through the pill pocket though, if your cat ignores it for awhile. It’s helpful to use as little as the pill pocket as possible, the smaller you are able to get the wrapped pill, the easier it is for kitty to gobble it down rather than bite it which will normally make them spit it out. I use about 1/3 of a pocket on each pill I give my cat. It’s easy to tear and very malleable.
Question:	How have folks gotten around the challenge of replacing the batteries without having to replace the Velcro and magnet strip each time
Answer:	I don't think so.It is just a buoyancy aid. One thing to note is that if the waves are big, don't stand up in your snorkeling vest, it's easy to fall.

Answer:	Yes, they have an expiration date on the package. The one I'm using now has a best by date in 2018. I've frozen unused ones, however. You can pull one out and warm it quickly between your fingers. Unfortunately, my cat sometimes decides she doesn't like them about halfway through the packages. Sometimes I can convince her to take them, sometimes not. But the pill pockets have made a huge difference since I don't have to fight to get a pill down an elderly cat's throat. By the way, she will eat the ones for dogs. Those smell differently and I have to break pieces off since they are bigger, but she will eat them.
