Answer:	Thanks for asking. Cool White is 4000K and Daylight is 5000K. Everyone perceives light slightly differently and it's mostly personal preference. If you search the internet for this topic, you will see a lot of information on how to choose colors. Remember that the specification for color is the numeric value such as 2700K, 3000K, 4000, 5000K, etc. Terms such as warm, soft, bright, cool, daylight vary from one company to another. So when you are shopping for the color, use the numeric value.

Answer:	That answer by the company doesn’t appear to be completely true. I have several 3 way compatible lights and this bulb works in some but not others. I have asked the company for more information.

Answer:	May you be confused by the way normal household lighting is wired. Don't believe there is a 2 way medium base bulb (lamp). The bulb need a 3-way light socket to work at the three lighting levels but the lamp socket normally functions off of two wires for a simple setup like a table lamps. This is called a two wire circuit but could have a third ground wire (green or bare). The bulb has 2 hot contacts points on the base for a low and med setting and both are engaged for the high level. The turn knob switch on the socket changes the lighting level and has 4 positions _ off-1-2-3. LED lights do not work with normal (older) dimmer switches but do work with 3 way or 4 way wall switches that are wired together like in a dining room or with stairs switches. A 3-way wall switch still works if the bulb is installed in and controlled in a normal 3 way (level) light socket but only control electrical power to the fixture. These bulbs are digital vs filament but for simplicity they work the same for different light levels. A 3-way wall switch is for two wall switch locations and a lamp fixture(s). The wiring for two or more wall switches controlling a single light can be confusing and have numerous wiring configurations. Google 3-way light switch wiring for layout options. If a 3 way wall switch has been replaced and it is not uncommon for one leg of the switch to not work properly, if a switch wire has been reinstalled on a wrong terminal screw. Not all wall switches are laid out the same. Troubleshoot with the wiring layout diagram. Summary - generally the lamp lighting level is controlled by the socket multi-position switch knob and the wall switch however configured controls power to the wall outlet or light fixture. Question:	Not 3-way. Only on-or-off. What is wrong
Answer:	Depend on your light color preference. Lighting color is measured in degree Kelvin _the lower number 2700K is the light color of an incandescent soft white bulb with more yellow light and the high number daylight 6500K is a brighter blue light. Cool White 4100K is the color of most the bright ceiling lighting in retail stores and offices. Some people feel the high K bulbs is harder on the eyes. Google a Kelvin light chart and use the number valve to guide you. The color names get confusing. Also check the chart on the packaging. High watts will generate more lumens. Lumen and Kelvin color are not directly related but there is a relationship. Read about photography light if are concerned about the color of your pictures and reflected light. Educate yourself and then experiment.

Question:	what is the voltage? 110, 220 or
Answer:	I wired mine with Line power to one end of the tube and neutral to the other end of the tube and the ballast removed. They worked great. The tube could be turned end for end and reinstalled and it still worked fine so end to end polarity doesn’t matter. Although I didn’t wire mine this was, i believe the instructions said you could also wire line power and neutral to the same end of the tube to the two separate contact posts. Follow the directions and they work great!

Answer:	There are two options for this bulb available on this page (as of today). One is for 46/60/100 and the other is for 50/100/150 (watts equivalent). Sometimes it's confusing the way products are listed on Amazon.

Answer:	Your lamp must have a 3-way socket. If you don't, you'll only have the 100 watt level work. You can tell if you rotate the switch and if it has only one "off" position, it's NOT a 3-way. If you have 3 "offs" with this bulb, something is wrong ... either the bulb or the switch - would be quite unusual. My bet is the lamp is NOT a 3-way.

Answer:	These are words that companies use as descriptors such as warm, soft, bright, cool, daylight, etc. However, the real specification you should use is the numeric value such as 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, etc. The descriptors will very from company to company so we don't recommend using these. In the case of our company, we call 2700K color Warm and 3000K Soft or Bright.

Answer:	Newer LED bulbs should last much longer than the older incandescent bulbs but you will need to change the sockets on your lamps in order to accommodate the 3- way LED bulbs. ( light from the LED bulbs is much whiter than the old bulbs) I haven’t found anyone selling “warm white” 3-way LEDs yet. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't have a touch light, but my wife has a clapper and it works.

Answer:	It can not use in dimmers(it will cause noise/flicker). At the same, if the bulb installs in the conventional switch, it will only show one brightness-1800lm(in fact, this bulb has three luminous flux 800-1000-1800Lm ) for you. This bulb needs to be used with the 3-Way dimmer switch. I hope my answer can help you.
Question:	Does it turn on when you clap
Answer:	If you put a three way bulb in a non three way socket, you will only get one level of brightness. The bulb will turn on and off but you will not have the three levels available. More than likely, you will always have the brightest level when you turn the socket on. You can easily check to see if you have a three way socket, even if you don't have a three way bulb. with the bulb in the socket, turn the switch. A two way socket will turn the bulb on, then off, then on, etc. A three way socket will have off, off, on, on (depending on your bulb wattage). Regardless of the wattage, you will have 4 "clicks" to cycle through (normal 3 way: off, low, med, high) where a two way will just have two "clicks" on/off

Answer:	No they cannot. They have clearly printed on the side of the bulb that they cannot be used in an enclosed or recessed fixture.

Answer:	You normally switch these by switching the light off then on again quickly. If the bulbs connected to one switch get out of sync, turn the switch off and wait a moment. Then turn the switch on and off quickly. When you turn the switch back on, all bulbs should be at their brightest setting.

Answer:	While that was the way incandescent bulbs worked, the LED bulbs function differently. They simply "step up" the amount of light by the 25W (equivalent) each time you turn the switch. Incandescent 3-way bulbs work by turning on two different filaments for the lower wattages, then the both of them for the highest wattage. LED are not filament bulbs and aren't limited to the simple combination. In fact, I have an LED "sunrise" lamp that increases across a fine range of brightness to wake me up in the morning. This LED bulb really does produce three different levels of light equivalent to the 50-75-100W.
Question:	How do you switch between the levels
Answer:	5000K is very white, bright, perhaps, even intense, light. It might be great for reading at night. However, if you are interested in warm, pleasant effect, I would recommend 2700K-3000K..
