Answer:	Rust is not iron eating bacteria. Rust is ferric oxide, which is just iron combined with oxygen. Sulfur smells from iron rich water typically come from your water heater. The bacteria thrive on the metals in sacrificial anode rod in your water heater. Once the bacteria get in the water heater, you will need a powered anode rod and an iron removing system to fix the problem. For anyone on a well with iron, I recommend the following: 1) Get a powered anode rod to replace your sacrificial anode rode in your water heater. Do the chlorine or peroxide disinfection of the heater when installing to kill the existing bacteria. 2) Get this system. You may need to use an iron reducing filter in the third canister instead of a second carbon filter if your water softener isn’t reducing your iron to 0 parts per million, and put this system after the softener using iron reducing salt. 3) replace the filters as recommended without delay. 4) add a UV light sterilizer after these filters. These steps will immediately remove the sulfur and iron smell as the bacteria won’t have iron to eat, or be sustained from the magnesium in the standard anode rod in the water heater. My water went from cloudy brown and smelly to crystal clear perfection after doing this fix.

Question:	Anybody know the maximum flow rate in gallons per minute and/or the pressure drop across this (assuming new filters and 50 psi head pressure
Answer:	Depends on the filters used, pipe size and how it was installed. If you just want to know if you will have enough pressure to shower and use laundry machine or dishwasher. It will be fine as long as you don't use smaller than 3/4 inch supply in and out of this. I'd consider using pex if you want the best flow due to having much less fittings and elbows. I would say at minimum 5- 10 GPM. Hope this helps.

6 Stages of Pure

Express Water’s 1st stage is a Sediment filter which helps filter dirt, dust, sand, and rust.

The 2nd and 3rd stages are Carbon Block and Granular Carbon Filters which focus on pollutants like chlorine, volatile organic chemicals, and odor causing compounds.

These early stages help extend the life of the 4th stage, the RO Membrane. The Membrane focuses on the most difficult to remove contaminants like lead, arsenic, chromium, fluoride, TDS, radium, and others.

The 5th stage is the Deionization Filter. Deionization removes even the finest Dissolved TDS (Dissolved Solid) contaminants and most difficult minerals via ion exchange. The RO Membrane greatly extends the life of your DI Filter.

The 6th stage is a Post Activated Carbon Filter which does a final pass on your water, right before it comes through the faucet, removing any possible taste or odor.

Answer:	Yes but you may prefer a system with booster pump to maintain pressure necessary for reverse osmosis process. We also have pump systems equipped with UV lights for well water.

Answer:	Hello. The system comes with a back wash system included. Installing the Drain Saddle 3.1 Choose a spot on the drain pipe that is convenient for installing the drain saddle and tubing. A horizontal pipe is recommended to minimize the dripping sound. 3.2 Drill a 1 /4 inch hole in the drain pipe, and paste the black sticky pad around the hole. 3.3 Cut the WHITE tubing end to make a 45 degree angle. Slip the plastic nut and front plate on the tubing. Insert the tubing into the 1 / 4 inch hole in the drain pipe, install the back plate, and tighten the two screws with hex nuts while the tubing remains in the hole. Insert Lock Clip. Pull the tubing lightly to make sure it is secure. 3.4 Tighten the nut on the Drain Saddle by hand. Pull the tubing lightly to make sure it is secure.
