Answer:	I believe if your pen is a dip and write it will work for you. To fill a cartage, I would guess it would but couldnt be sure. I bought this for my 84 year old friend she is using it to write letters and messages in cards. She loves it!

Question:	At this level of filtering, would the water be equivalent to distilled water
Answer:	The EZ4 filter is as close to distilled as you can get without getting Reverse Osmosis. I intentionally chose it over RO because it does leave some of the natural minerals in the water. It removes bad stuff folks worry about from their community water. We live in a town that has a well for the water supply and testing shows the water to be safe, but borderline in some areas. The water just does not tasted good. The EZ4 allays all concerns of safety and the water tastes great. Highly recommended.
Question:	What does this water filter remove? Mercury
Answer:	The included EZ-1 filter (according to the manual) states chlorine, class 3 particulates, and Standard 42. ANSI Standard 42 is for chlorine(taste/odor), chloramines, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, pH neutralization, and zinc reduction. Mercury would fall under Standard 53, which includes heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, selenium), inorganics (fluoride & nitrate, nitrite) and volatile organic chemicals (chloroform surrogate). For these you need the EZ-3 filter.
Question:	Can you change the filter without turning off the water
Answer:	It says that you can. I have had the cold water line turned off for other reasons when chaning it, so I can't say for sure, but think that you would have very little spillage while changing it.
Question:	can this faucet be mounted in the Standard sprayer hole on sinks? (Approx 1 1/2 inch hole
Answer:	Yes. Most sinks have a 1-3/8" or 1-1/2" hole so that's the easiest way to install. If you do not have a hole you must drill one but not that large: 9/16" or 5/8" will do. I just purchased one and that info is right from the instructions... for those who may be doubtful.

Answer:	I had a counter faucet system with 1/4" tube. So I found Watts Quick Connect couplings PL-3021 that go from 1/4" to 3/8". Cut 2 pieces the 3/8" tubing 4" and inserted into the new filter housing and then inserted the 1/4" existing tubing into the couplers.
Question:	Can you use this with a faucet with a flow rate of 1.8gpm
Answer:	Your question is fundamentally wrong- 3US-PF01 and 3US-AF01 are both filters! But they both will fit 3US-AS01 system if that what you meant in your question.
Question:	Does the product includes the hose and other required items to do self installation
Answer:	No, it will not convert non-potable water into potable (safe to drink) water. This filter actually comes (found on the Performance Data Sheet) with a warning from the manufacturer - "Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. EPA Establishment number 070595-CT-001". This filter (3US-PS01, 3US-PF01) does filter cysts (based on protozoan Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts). However, bear in mind that these oocysts are way bigger than most bacteria (e.g., E. coli). This filter doesn't filter bacteria.
Question:	how do u not include 3/8 npt fittings! & what nerve to say "additional installation parts will be required" smFh at this price, include universal kit

Answer:	The band along the bottom of each label indicates the color... The set I bought was Red, Blue, and Green, however, they are not typical colors! This is an economical way to try their lovely inks. I have only used the Ama-iro blue so far, but it is light without being watered down, clear, and consistent with no color separation--truly beautiful!

Answer:	The 5-year expected life of the EPINL30 is based on a maximum usage of 1500 gallons annually. High levels of sediment or iron in the water supply may clog the filter and reduce its life.

Answer:	The filter housing alone is 10 inches long.

Answer:	I would just use a strong tape. Mine is just on the floor next to it to keep the refrigerator closest to the wall.

Answer:	The bottle opening is not wide enough for every pen. A thicker pen will have trouble. Keep in mind these are sample bottles, and not full-sized. Think of 'em as "cute." Something like a Montblanc 149? forget it. My parker 51 had no trouble. Think my Conklin sleeve filler did.
Question:	In France we have very hard water. Lots of calcium. It's so bad it literally destroy's coffee makers. Does this filter remove calcium
Answer:	Try this on a spare envelope: 1) Write anything using the ink in question 2) Lightly spray the lettering area from at least 8 inches away with aerosol hair spray (not pump!) or mat fixative spray used on charcoal/pastel drawings 3) Wait for spray yo dry & attempt to smear 4) Spray & retry if any smearing occurs 5) Remember, inks should never be used in place of Kevlar vests! ;)

Can this system reduce TDS?

Please note that this Undersink Water Filtration System cannot reduce TDS. Not for hard water.

TDS stands for total dissolved solids. It is composed of inorganic salts and a small amount of organic matter. Can the system filter well water?

No. This system is designed for Municipal Tap Water. If using well water as the source, please make sure the feed water has been through a pre-filtration system, otherwise, large particles in well water will clog the filter easily and shorten filter life.

Answer:	PEX is just a supply line. It is an excellent product and would have no affect on using this filter system since all connections are made after the shut off valves under the sink. Now if you choose to put a filter inline and not at the valve, then special PEX brass connectors will be needed along with a PEX tool for installation.
Question:	How often do you need to change the filter
Answer:	Hi dear customer, The filtration capacity for Chlorine is 5000G, and filtration life for LEAD is 1000G, so the filter life can be 1-3 years depend on your daily usage and it can even be 3 years, but we won’t suggest you do the cartridge change that long. As you know the filtration performance is dropping gradually when time goes by, so the longer time you use, the less good water you get. The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Frizzlife suggest no matter what brand of water filtration you will get, do not use that for over 3 years not changing the cartridge, the performance of filtering will be very very low.
