Answer:	yes, it can be refilled with 5 gm of 99%+ pure iodine crystals which are cheap. Just pour them into the jar. 5 gm is so they do not over flow the baffle in the bottle.

Answer:	Yes, try keeping the bottle close to your body to warm up, or wrap a warm cloth around it for a few minutes. Basically, the warmer the solution the less you need, it's a valiency/solubility thing... I thought my thermometer strip was broken too at first, until I warmed and cooled the bottle.. Just a thermometer color issue. I used this for salt river water (arizona) after a sediment filter and had no I'll affects.
Question:	How much water (assuming the temperature indication is somewhere in the middle) can one bottle do at one time
Answer:	The temperature indicator on the bottle is to indicate the saturation or iodine content of the solution in the bottle: that is, the warmer the bottle, the more iodine in each drop. The temperature of the water affects only the time required for the iodine to work. Therefore, it should not be necessary to 'go heavy', just be sure to give it sufficient time to do it's job. Following the directions then, you can treat one liter per two capfuls in the bottle, however many that is. You could then, of course, refill the bottle with water and repeat.

Answer:	I would return the filter mount but believe I've had it to long.

Question:	I just opened up two filters out of their silver wrapper and they were WET, is this right
Answer:	I do not know. Suggest you email seller and ask them.
Question:	Do these filters come in original PUR packaging (blue box), or do they come in a generic brown box
Answer:	The toilet I used it in is marked CST604CEFG inside the tank. The Korky fill valve has worked fine in that toilet. Under the tank lid there should be a sticker that shows the fill valves used in the various Toto toilets. If you can determine that your toilet and mine use the same fill valve specified by Toto, then I suspect this one would work in your unit. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I do not know. There are some variations and we looked carefully at the Korky site to match our toilet to the Toto filler valve. Suggest you do the same.

Answer:	I use a water cooler, I use this to refill my bottle. The filter is perfect for that. The pitch did not provide enough water for my family.

Answer:	Per the manufacturer's instructions for optimal use: Use with cold water only. Do not run hot water (above 100 deg F / 38 deg C) through the filter as it may damage the filter. So bypass the filter when you need hot water, and only run water from the COLD side when using the filter.
Question:	Whats the difference between this and the FM
Answer:	I've seen it installed and operated effectively on a bathroom faucet however there are a few factors to consider: First, measure the distance between the end of your faucet & the sink basin below then subtract about 1.5 inches for the attachment & decide if it will hinder sink usage and/or is there enough clearance to use the water flow to wash hands, brush teeth, etc. If you do in fact have the room you will then need to confirm that the current spout end can be screwed off so that the Brita Filter may in fact be screwed on.

Answer:	We just bought the 4-pack of PUR filters, having used up the 7-pack. Be careful of counterfeit filters, we'd purchased some on eBay and even Amazon, had to return them all! Buying from Amazon is reliable as long as there is not a 3rd party seller, but directly from Amazon.

Answer:	I don't know what aqua crest is but these fit my Pur filter and work fine.

Answer:	PUR filter dimensions are 7.9 x 7.6 x 2.7 inches and the Brita filter dimensions are 7.1 x 5.4 x 2.4 inches.While they may fit in the other pitchers, a tight fit is considerably important in filters as if there's any gap, water will go in-between the cracks.
