Answer:	I had a counter faucet system with 1/4" tube. So I found Watts Quick Connect couplings PL-3021 that go from 1/4" to 3/8". Cut 2 pieces the 3/8" tubing 4" and inserted into the new filter housing and then inserted the 1/4" existing tubing into the couplers.

Answer:	Your question is fundamentally wrong- 3US-PF01 and 3US-AF01 are both filters! But they both will fit 3US-AS01 system if that what you meant in your question.

Answer:	No, it will not convert non-potable water into potable (safe to drink) water. This filter actually comes (found on the Performance Data Sheet) with a warning from the manufacturer - "Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. EPA Establishment number 070595-CT-001". This filter (3US-PS01, 3US-PF01) does filter cysts (based on protozoan Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts). However, bear in mind that these oocysts are way bigger than most bacteria (e.g., E. coli). This filter doesn't filter bacteria.

Answer:	Hi Robert as a large distributer and semi expert in the AP200 you can just turn the squarn knob on the bottom to the left and that will lower the housing. You should be careful reinstalling the filter not to retighten it too much as you will break off the threads. We made a special wrench just to remove the filter housing. Answer:	hot water will cancel the charcoal filtration inside of the unit. more question contact CUNO the manufacturer. also the unit that is shown is to be used under the sink and not to filter the whole house. If you want to filter the whole house before the hot water tank then you need to get a unit that uses 2 12 inch filter and not just one. and the filters used are not charcoal but dirt filters. The under sink unit for cold water is charcoal which filter dirt and taste. I have used them for 40 years as I was a contractor in NYC where the water tastes great but is dirty form old pipes. You use them until you see a decrease in the water pressure and then you change them. This applies to all filters medium.

Answer:	The sodium chloride in softened water is a dissolved solid, which this filter will not remove. This filter removes suspended solids. To remove residual sodium you need reverse osmosis or something similar, like Zero Water.
Question:	Can these be used on acrylic showers/tubs? Will they scratch or void a warranty
Answer:	A close examination of a Body Glove filter photo shows that the threads on the bg1000c appear to be different from those of the 3M Aqua-Pure AP Easy C-CS-FF cartridge. I doubt that one could replace the other.
Question:	Are these the same things as the scotch-brite dobie scrub & wipe cloth, 5.9 in. x 3.9 in--- i like that these are thinner than the typical sponge
