1. Caution: Before your first use, soak the filter in cold tap water for 10 minutes and remove bubbles to activate the filter and ensure the best filtration performance. There are quite a few differences, but perhaps the most important one and the difference most people will notice first is that the bristles on the TUNG Brush are much firmer and more effective than the bristles on the Orabrush. Ours are similar to what you might find on a toothbrush, except that they're much shorter and they are arranged in a way that makes them effective on your tongue. The Orabrush bristles, by comparison, are thin and highly flexible plastic strands that many of our customers tell us are not as effective at cleaning -- especially down in the deeper nooks & crannies of your tongue and at the back of your tongue. Those are, of course, the most important areas to clean, since they are the locations where the smelliest gunk gathers on your tongue! Other differences include the ergonomic handle which is designed to help you reach further back and the hole in the middle to help make it easier to rinse and keep clean so bacteria don't grow on the brush itself. If you have used the Orabrush, you'll definitely want to to a little easy at first when you try the TUNG Brush -- maybe give yourself a few days of softer brushing until you get used to the feel of it. This is because 90% of the bacteria that cause bad breath are actually on the tongue -- not on the teeth, gums or other tissues in the mouth. When you have a consistent habit of cleaning the tongue, you're dramatically reducing the source of the bad breath. So... you may find that mouthwash isn't necessary.Second thing you'll want to consider: does your mouthwash have alcohol in it? If so, you may want to find one that doesn't have alcohol, as the alcohol contributes to drying your mouth out. Dry conditions are better for bacteria to thrive, so unfortunately any mouthwash that dries your mouth out can actually make matters worse (although your mouth will feel clean and the odors will be masked at first). So... if you use a mouthwash, look for one that is alcohol-free. Answer:	Hi there, A.T. -- thanks for your question! Scrapers are really great at removing substances from smooth surfaces. For example, when you have frost or ice on your windshield, a scraper is the right idea! But your tongue has lots of nooks and crannies, and that's where the smelly gunk on your tongue lives. So a scraper will remove some of the stuff from the top surfaces of your tongue, but will actually push some of the gunk down into the crevices and leave them there. Picture trying to remove peanut butter from some coarse sandpaper. If you scrape the peanut butter with a butter knife, you'll get some off, but you'll smear the rest into the sandpaper. And the sandpaper will still smell like peanut butter! But if you use a brush, those bristles will get down into the nooks & crannies where the smelly gunk lives and will loosen them up and get them out. That's why we designed the TUNG Brush -- scrapers just weren't able to get the job done! If you combine the brush with our minty fresh gel, you'll find that the zinc in the gel neutralizes any odors and leaves you with a clean, fresh tongue! I hope this helps. What is Ion Exchange Resin

This is one of the most used process to reduce water hardness, what they don't tell you is that in the process they remove magnesium (this is good for your body) and they add sodium to the water (which is very bad for your body)

This method is mostly preferred by big corporations because is easy and cheap

How does it work?

The resin is made of a polymer that binds positively charged ions. The polymer is designed to bind to calcium and magnesium more strongly than to sodium.

When hard water flows past this resin, the calcium and magnesium ions in your water will bind to the polymer, releasing the sodium into the water. The water flowing out is then softer but contains more sodium instead.

Question:	How do you flush filters to work longer
Answer:	Good day, Please take the red flush bulb that is included with the package and screw it into the top of the filter. After that, secure or press the flush bulb to the bottom of a faucet and run medium pressure through the filter for 1-2 minutes. Please note that it is okay if water comes up through the top of the flush bulb during the process. You can increase the pressure or duration depending upon the results. Question:	I noticed an answer about a high ppm reading, with a “minerals added” explanation. How then can your filtered water be tested for contaminants
Answer:	Hi there, that's a good question. There seems to be some confusion about the difference between terms TDS (Total Dissolved Solids, the "parts" in Parts Per Pillion) and contaminants. TDS is too general a measurement to determine the healthfulness of drinking water. A simple home TDS testing kit would show a high ppm reading because it is not able to discern between contaminants (such as arsenic, lead, mercury, etc.) and non-contaminant minerals (such as magnesium and potassium). Our filters maintain/add healthy amounts of minerals to your water, while filtering out non-organic and organic contaminants. All Seychelle filters have been rigorously tested for their contaminant filtration ability by numerous third party laboratories, including the County of Los Angeles Toxicology Laboratory. These laboratories have the equipment to test concentrations of each analyte individually and get a better picture as to what exactly is in the water. Question:	I'm wondering if filtering warm-hot warm on a couple applications will damage the filter, causing poor filtration or any type of danger
Answer:	Filter is an ION exchange and carbon composite; intention is for cold water filtration. I have never used hot water, warm is likely OK. I am not sure if hot would damage the filter to cause slower filtration. 16 ounces should filter in a couple of minutes.
Question:	Do these filters have an expiration date? How long can you store these filters

There is no exact time to tell customers when to change the filter, because the feed water quality and daily usage is very much different among users. If we have to give out a service life by time, we would life to recommend you to change the 1st stage every 6-12 months, change 2nd stage every 8-12 months and change 3rd stage every 12-18 months. Please notice the service life depends on your water quality and daily usage. Here are some suggestions to judge if it's time to change the filter: First is the taste, if you feel the taste of the water have a big difference, then it's time to change. Second is the water flow, the carbon has the highest precision of 0.5micron, which is 10 times higher than most of the other brands with similar product, if your water is getting too bad, it means the carbon is blocked because your water has many small particles and VOCs. You will need to know that the performance of a water filter is decreasing by daily usage and will finally get exhausted, so Frizzlife will suggest every user to change filter more often to get the best water.
