Answer:	We replaced our disposal so we had a dishwasher previously connected and did not need a dishwasher connector. So if you are just replacing your disposal you likely have what you need to connect the dishwasher. If putting in for the first time you might need a connector.
Question:	Can I use this with my own sink flange
Answer:	Probably yes, based on my own experience. We had an Emerson a long time ago (15 years) which went bad and I replaced with the 1/2 HP Badger. Did not have to change the flange. It was a real "in place drop-in". Last week, the Badger died (lasted about the 15 years I mention), and I bought this one as replacement. I did not replace the flange again. It was another "drop-in" although I had to install a wall outlet under the sink to plug it in. No problem with one of those blue boxes.
Question:	Will this fit the space where there's now a badger 5 1/2hp? i.e., is the 5xp 3/4hp any bigger

Question:	versus 300 seems to be the difference, but did anyone do research on InSinkErator Evolution Excel before deciding on this product
Answer:	I've replaced more InSinkErators in my life - probably one for each year of your life. I've bought them from Amazon, Big Box stores, Plummer's Supply, etc. - If I got 2 years out of them I considered it a success. So far, I gotten 3+ years out of my 1HP Waste King, and it's still going strong. Go with the aste King and not the sales pitch.
Question:	My existing disposal is hard-wired (not plugged into the wall) Can I hard wire Waste King or do I need to install outlet
Answer:	I've installed five Waste King disposals in the last three years for friends and family, and I have found it easier to just install an outlet to plug the disposal into. Turn off power to the existing disposal, use the wire (if it's Romex) that's already there, buy a surface-mount box, outlet, and an outlet cover - then wire it in, install the new disposal, and plug it in. I think it's much easier than trying to direct-wire the new disposal with (what is usually very stiff) Romex. Also this way you can then use a disposal air switch control that plugs into this new outlet, and then your disposal cord plugs into that. Since your old disposal is most likely controlled by a wall switch, just leave the switch in the "on" position and from then on use the air switch.
Question:	What does "lifetime" mean. If I am 25 and it konks out when I am 50, what do I get? Is it pro-rated
Answer:	This is the best. I bought mine in 2013 (5 years ago) and its worked perfectly, until a couple of days ago, it would not start. Power to GFCI plug on, reset button tripped. When I reset the button, it came on about 1/2 second and stopped. Troubleshooting indicates the brushes on the electromagnetic motor need replacement. I called Anaheim customer service (the company that manufactures Waste King and all they needed was the original purchase date, my name, and the serial number from the unit. A brand new replacement unit should arrive in a couple of days. Zero charge for the unit or shipping fee. They offered to have a plumber come install it too, also no charge, however, since I’m pretty handy, I don’t need that. The total time on the call to resolve the warranty replacement was about 15 minutes, due to an approximate 3 minute wait time to speak to the representative. All is needed to complete the warranty process is the serial number tag from the existing unit and the serial number from the new one, mailed back in to Anaheim Manufacturing. Easy peasy!! Great service and they stand behind the lifetime warranty!
Question:	Has any one had problems with the "easy mount" on a SS sink? The cushion mount slipped out of the mount ring on the second day.Is vibration a problem
Answer:	The Easy Mount doesn't seal well on a SS sink. I've had a plumber out a couple of times to remedy the sink seal. Last fix was a couple of years ago and we just discovered it's leaking again.

Answer:	I have no problem pulling out the InSinkErator STP-SS what-so-ever. If you are having a problem breaking the suction, you can simply open drain function with this stopper.
Question:	Does this stopper fit down into the drain, or at the top of the drain so that it sticks out into the basin of the sink
Answer:	Inner flange diameter - 3 1/8". Outer diameter - barely greater than 3 1/4" (not a full 3 5/16"). It sticks up into the basin of my sink, and barely provides a seal so that the most minor bump to it results in a leak. The inner flange rests within the drain, but the out flange keeps it from resting down inside the drain.

Answer:	There are (2) dimensions. Inner seal is a 3 inch diameter seal, which sits inside the basket. The second dimension is the overall "lip" which seals the inner seal of the basket; 3 1/4 inch diameter.

Answer:	I had the same issue: Towards the back of the ice maker (opposite side of the motor) there are two holes for the arm. I had it in the upper one. Switched it to the lower one and works perfectly

Answer:	I direct wired it but it wasn't easy to remove the plug. I ended up having to cut the cord and mutilate the grommet the cord went through in order to get it out. In my opinion if there's one without a cord that's a few dollars more I'd buy that one.

Answer:	This particular unit comes with a cord with a plug. You plug it into a switched wall socket to operate. But you can buy a version that is meant to be hard-wired to a switch, and that can switch can be an air switch as much as it can be anything else. I think ANY disposal can be used with an air switch if wired properly.

Answer:	I would suggest a 9. I usually wear a 7.5 -8 and the 8 is a teeny bit big, but I have narrow feet and never wear them with socks. However, a lot of other reviews say to order down, I would order an 8 again

Answer:	I own three pairs (black, midsummer black, and poppies), and all I use them for is to wear to work in the city when it's raining. They actually look like a fashion statement; someone always compliments me each time I wear them.

Answer:	Hi, no excuse for not answering this question sooner! I apologize. Actually, we do make a size a size 11 in Midsummer Black and Midsummer Blue. The reason I don't put it on Amazon is that it may be confusing, because the customer will see the size 11 option for all of the shoes, but it is only available in those two prints. Question:	What material is the grinding chamber made of? does the disposal have auto reverse
Answer:	I don't seen any reason why not. The gas inlet is a standard connection, but make sure you have a local shutoff valve to avoid any leaks. We converted the power source to use rechargeable AA instead of the D cells. Wonderful outdoor shower in our tropical climate. 65F to 125F in 10 seconds.

Answer:	I really don't know but I doubt it. It is made to fit a kitchen sink. I had purchased a generic sink stopper at Menards that did not work for my kitchen sink. This is why I ordered an Insinkerator stopper from Amazon. You could try buying one of the stoppers from the box stores to see if that would work..

Answer:	No you cannot use your own strawThis is designed to have a two part straw so you can fold over the top part and snap it down so it does not leakI supposed you could try to replace the bottom straw part under the lid but it is a two piece strawYour best bet is to a straw brush ... it has a very small round brush at the end and a long flexible line .

Answer:	As far as I know, you have to buy a new unit. I keep breaking the bottoms, and have four extra lids sitting around. Wish I could give you one!

Answer:	Straw does come apart and I have a straw brush (like a mini bottle brush) for cleaning.

Answer:	I cannot truly answer this specific question, because both of the cups that came in the mail were broken. The insert was separated from the cup. Amazon offered to resend the cup a third time, I gave up on it. Went to teavana and bought a cup there.

Answer:	Adjust the big square thing on the top of the pole by wiggling it around until the lock nut loosens up and you can move the big square thing up and down. Move it down to about one and a half or two inches from the bottom. It should solve the problem.

Answer:	No, the included flapper and flush valve are designed to work on toilets with 2" flush systems. Your American Standard Champion 4 requires a 3" flush valve and flapper. We recommend the 5030BP Korky 3" Flush Valve and Flapper Kit, and the 528MP Universal fill valve.
