| Answer: | not sure I get your question. if your gap is 5/8 then your sweep must also be or it will not seal against water flow, which kind of defeats the purpose of using a sweep. Maybe I am missing something. you want a step that touches gently but evenly the floor or sill below your door in order for it to work properly, sort of like a windshield wiper. |
