Question:	Why are so many of the reviews for this product apparently about entirely different products
Answer:	I don't know, but I have purchased and use this particular product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to raise their shower head or extend it out towards the middle of the shower.
Question:	Will the "elbows" hold a double shower head with a rainfall and handheld head
Answer:	Yes, I initially mounted a shower head, handheld shower with 6 foot steel hose, and diverter fixture - the elbows could hold the weight, and yet still be easily adjustable by pushing and pulling up and down without constantly loosening / tightening the two wingnut fittings. However, I eventually changed that configuration and mounted the double fitting back towards the wall -- got tired of having shower head / handheld head / 6 foot hose / diverter assembly "in my face" whenever I pull the whole busy assembly forward toward me. Again, the weight of all that stuff was never a problem for this extension arm. Tip -- I Never had a leaking problem (owned and used for a year now) -- NEVER Over-Tighten - instead, just use MORE Teflon tape and the leaks WILL stop. Honest opinion -- I'm not an employee or a compensated reviewer.

Answer:	I did not notice any change in water pressure, but it did eat up one of the rubber washers when I installed it and I had to buy a better quality (tougher) washer.
Question:	I am not familiar with installing these things, but do you need teflon tape
Answer:	Yes! And wrap it around three times. I also like to put a thin coat of liquid Teflon (another plumbers' supply) on the threads before I put the tape on. If you need to use plyers to tighten the swivel wing nuts be sure to protect the wings with a cloth before gripping with the plyers.

Answer:	Absolutely. It's designed to just be an extension or replacement of the existing wall fitting. All shower head fittings are 1/2"NPT (1/2 inch diameter, National Pipe Thread). This is the standard.
Question:	Will it support the 2.3 pound Delta RP52382 Raincan without the pivots bending
Answer:	Maybe....we are pushing our's with a very large round rain head. The rain head probably weighs a couple pounds. Sorry, not more definite but we are very careful not to touch the set-up as it's not as secure at the hinges as we'd like. I guess, I should also add that the hinges seem more secure the higher up you set the arm.....this movement does add stability. It is a beautiful arm and we've had countless compliments on it. Good luck.....can always return it ;)
Question:	The shower arm coming out of my wall has the threaded bit this would screw onto pointing straight down. Will this angle up enough to work OK on that
Answer:	There are pivoting joints at each end of the arm. The shaft is able to be angled nearly completely vertical with the shower head pointed straight up at the ceiling or straight down at the floor if you want it to.
Question:	Can I chain two of these together effectively doubling the length
Answer:	I bought this extension as I thought it would be nice to stand OTHER THAN in my regular place in the shower / tub. I was wrong and reverted back to only arm supplied with the shower head that came with it. When using TWO of these 10" extensions together ... one must tightened EXCESSIVELY for them to "stay put" in the position you want ... but even that is IFFY ... they will begin to sag because of their weight. I suggest the one 10" extension and that's all with your rain shower head.

Answer:	The flange comes with the arm but is a very loose fit. Adjustment of (rather tiny) lugs inside the flange may improve the fit so the flange can be set flush with the wall. It flops otherwise.

Answer:	What problem do you have encountered? This shower arm can not support the shower head? OR can't be connected to the original shower arm. 1. Make sure the gears are in agreement and tightened. 2, can not support too heavy showers. 3. If it is loose between the fixed shower arm and the adjustment shower arm. Answer:	no oring is needed, we tried plumbers tape to keep the handles tight, so the arm would not move. however, we believe that the shower head is to heavy. we bought a simple $10. silver shower head and its remained in place. looking to buy Mariner 2 Combination Shower Head System,Oil Rubbed Bronze from Zoe industries. $199.00 (Ouch!) it is way more then I want to spend. Please note I have tried to make this work, however, I did not see that it has a weight limit for the shower head. I thank you for your time and effort, we did like the color match and was looking for a simple solution to a builders mistake.

Answer:	In order to extend a shower arm, you will need to buy an adjustable shower arm extension and connect it to your fixed shower arm. Answer:	I'm sure, the shower head I have on it is 4lbs so 6lbs may not make a big difference. You may have to ask the manufacturer to know for sure.

Answer:	this pipe is threaded on both ends and screws in , a 1/2" brass inlet should be in the wall, be sure to have 4 to 5 inches clearance to the ceiling for twisting it in and remember to put Teflon tape at both ends before attaching. Also the flange has a rubber gasket that fits snugly to the pipe just press it against the wall
Question:	The shower pipe from my wall is angled down. Can/how do I install this straight pipe if it's angled down? Does my angled pipe unscrew from the wall
Answer:	Without really seeing it I cannot tell you but ours was angled down as well. We just unscrewed the pipe out of the wall and replaced it with this one.

I bought this to use with my Waterpik High Pressure Shower Head Handheld Spray, 2-in-1 Dual System with 5-Foot Hose PowerPulse Therapeutic Massage, Chrome, 2.5 GPM XET-633-643 on Sept 24, 2020 and before the end of October the upper "joint" of the arm just hangs straight down. Cannot tighten the screw at all. By the way, this was installed by an experienced plumber (my husband)
