| Answer: | It is somewhat tricky in that there are springs under the big red switch "button" and wires that need to be re-routed correctly once the switch is replaced. The basic steps are:1. Make sure the machine is not connected to any power source.2. Turn the entire snowblower upside down onto a work surface where you can get at the underside of the handle. You will probably need to prop the body of the blower up somehow to get it to safely stay in place. This step is relatively important, however, because working on it from any other angle is quite frustrating.3. Remove all eleven (11) phillips-head screws from the bottom of the plastic handle pieces.4. Gently pry the two handle halves apart. My recommendation is to lift the bottom of the handle off and leave as much of the wiring and parts on the top half. The power plug is a press-fit and there may be some resistance separating the plastic in that area.5. Take a picture of the wiring and switch before doing anything else so you can get everything back in correctly.6. Remove the switch and take the wires out of the switch. I have answered a question about this step in more detail on this page, but basically it is easiest to pry the sides off of the old switch (this destroys the old switch, BTW) and pull the wires out sideways.7. Push the wires into the new switch paying close attention to how they came out. The switch is labeled "Line" and "Load" and the wires (one white and one black) from the plug go into the side marked "Line". The other two go into the plugs marked "Load". Make sure that the wire colors line up across the switch (i.e., the black "Load" wire is on the same side as the black "Line" wire).8. Put the switch back into the red "button" bar the same way it came out (it is offset slightly so it is important to orient it the correct way or the handles will not go back together. Place the red "button" bar and springs back into the top of the handle.9. Carefully re-route the wires. There are some plastic channels that they will probably need to be pushed back into.10. Place the bottom half of the handle back on the top half, making sure that all wires are inside and the BRS (Big Red Switch) works and springs in and out freely.11. Replace the eleven phillips-head screws. The handle should fit together well with no gaps and the red switch should move freely.12. Test. Don't take it out in the snow until it is together correctly and is working properly. The switch should work well every time and the motor should work as long as the switch is held.The hardest part is getting everything back inside the handle and in the right place. It is much easier if you have someone to help. |

| Answer: | I was experiencing terrible performance from the main shower head, which was rectified by removing the limiters. While the limiters were in place, the main head had low performance when solo and unusable performance when in dual-head mode. As a note, the water pressure from the pipe is ample so this is probably due to the main head being restricted by both the limiter in it's input and the limiter in the diverter. The wand, on the other hand, did not have it's own limiter and showed great performance solo and mediocre performance when in dual-head mode. Limiters were a novel idea to reduce water usage, but in the end they cause someone to shower for way longer than they otherwise would which I believe negates the water savings. For example, with a limiter my girlfriend takes 30 minute showers because it is hard to rinse out her hair, but when the limiter was removed she was able to reduce to 10 minute showers. Looks like this outputs about 4gal/min w/o limiters and about 2.5gpm with them. So a 30 minute shower at 2.5gpm uses 75gal of water whereas a 10 minute shower at 4gpm uses 40gal... I know this is a "ymmv" type of thing, but it is worth consideration when trying to decide if disabling the limiters are going to be negative to the environment. |

| Answer: | I was able to remove the black O rings quite easily even the one with a screen because they were part of the setup and had not been in place when received. However the inhibitor in the main shower head has one installed under the O ring which was quite difficult to remove. It's the white one which really restricts the flow. Since I use a filter I need the freest flow possible. |

| Answer: | We bought this chair when my daughter was 9 months old 17lbs and 22" long and she fit great in it. When the baby is sitting in the chair, it acts as a cradle on the bottom much like the outdoor chairs used for adults so it is very comfortable. It also has a "wall" of fabric with two leg holes that only the legs can go through...she would not be able to slide out if that's what you are worried about. Our daughter is now 14 months old and loves her chair when we go to grandmas house or weekend baseball games at the park. If I can answer anything else, please let me know. |

| Answer: | After we took this on a camping trip, it smelled like campfire smoke. Attempted to gently pressure wash it and the smoke smell didn't come out. Looked at how the material was attached to the leg frame (with 4 screws and a cloth strap on the back). I was able to remove the fabric by undoing 4 screws, two at the top of the back, and two underneath the tray area; after removing there are two rubber caps on the top of the poles on the back (they may stay inside the fabric). I then undid the metal circular clasp around the folding part in the back with a hammer (be careful, one will go soaring); I had to search the grass for it. After you've removed these things you can slide the entire material up and off of the frame. I washed mine my hand in the bath tub and hung to dry. |

| Answer: | I don't have the actual answer to the problem, just some suggestions. I never use mine on more than 4-5 inches of snow, and then sometimes take a half-width bite to be sure it can lift the snow. For bigger snows or hardpack/ice I use a gas Toro 521 2-stage blower with more power than the 1800. That said, it sounds like you may have either burned-out the electric motor, or burned-out any belt/pulley or gear drive between the motor and the auger. The best way to tell is to remove the end of the housing covering the drive and see if you can see if the motor is turning, or any drive parts are worn or broken, and replace at your Toro dealer or online. I think the side cover to look behind is the left side when you are standing at the handle facing forward. Be sure it is unplugged before starting any service on it. If nothing turns on or moves at all when you grasp the switch, the motor is likely burned out. You could look for a service manual online, and see if a new motor is available, but it may cost more than a new(used) blower at your local pawn shop, etc. Good luck. |
