Answer:	I don’t think you could put heavy furniture on it without breaking the plastic bottom that connects the pieces, but I have it in my laundry room and it looks nice.

Answer:	keep the valve shut is all thats needed or any hardware store will have a service plug that screws in

Answer:	No rough in valve. Fully exposed and surface mount. Stub out hot and cold below fixture then turn 90 degrees up to make connection.

Answer:	½ NPT female swivel connections.
Question:	Has anyone made their own gooseneck to replace the short one that come with it? What's the pipe and thread size
Answer:	I didn' replace the goose neck but I did add a straight piece of half inch/npt threads x 24 inch galvanized pipe ( you select the length i.e. 12/24/36 or in between) to raise the shower head to the desired height. You might find a suitable chrome plated pipe/fitting at a local plumbing supply house. You will also need a 1/2" coupler assuming both ends of the added pipe are male threads. The pipe and fitting are easily available in galvanized pipe at your local hardware store/Lowe's/Home Depot. If you can't live with the galvanized look - prime & paint with a chrome look. Ps: I installed a hose bib on mine for convience. In that event. you will need a simple ball valve to divert flow to the hose bib when in use. Install the ball valve just above the tee between that and the shower head riser pipe. Note the fixture comes with a 1/2" plug installed on the bottom side of the tee to attach a hose bib.

Question:	Does this item have the valve with it? Is everything you need to have a working outdoor shower in this
Answer:	This does have the valve with it. Our plumber installed it, but to my knowledge all the required parts were included. One thing I know he added was an additional piece of pipe to raise the showerhead (maybe 10" if I recall correctly). Otherwise, it was quite low for adults. It requires careful / thorough draining for cold weather if you live in such a climate (our supplier said people often come in needing replacement parts after the winter if they have not drained it).
Question:	questions........does the center handle control tempurature? Is there an additional outlet underneath that could accomodate a hand held sprayer
Answer:	Yes the handle controls the temperature. Turn it counterclockwise all the way and you get full hot. Yes there is a plug that comes with the fixture that you can remove and install a fitting to connect a handheld to. However, there is no diverter to control which outlet gets the water so you would either use the bottom outlet for handheld or the top outlet for the shower unless you can find a handheld sprayer that has its own shutoff valve. Then you could use the shower and while the shower is still running you could turn on the handheld. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is polished crome plated brass. No galvanized steel anywhere on this. I use it as an outdoor shower on the coast in Florida and there isnt any signs of tarnish or degredation after 1 year of being installed. It is a great fixture

Question:	The s-2251 & the s-2252 appear to be identical. so why pay $163.49 for the s-2251 when this one (s-2252) is roughly half the price
Answer:	yes! ours burst in middle of night while we were sleeping. gushing water all night long. ruined hardwood floors and leaked to basement. $30k of damage. insurance company says the filters are known to do this. ours cracked on the bottom. the company says you need to replace filters regularly so they aren't liable. i say bulls*t. we just assumed if we didn't replace it, that we were drinking unfiltered water. we didn't realize that if you are held hostage to replace regularly otherwise the filter could literally burst open on the bottom and flood your house.
Question:	whats the diffrents between the 2.0GPM and
Answer:	I know that if you have hard water, it takes alot of minerals out and also if your water has a chlorine taste, this really makes a differrence in the taste of my water. I wouldn't be without it.
Question:	How do you remove the water restrictor on this model
Answer:	If the tubes on top of the tank are dry, the tank needs a replacement. Please unplug it and put a bucket underneath of it.

Question:	Purchased 12 of these shower heads. Having problems keeping them together. Can't figure out how the 2 o rings fit inside the head
Answer:	If they were supposed to have o-rings, it would be placed in the neck where the threads are prior to installing on the shower arm. Not all shower heads come with these as they are no longer necessary.
Question:	Can you turn the water on & off at the handset
Answer:	I don't think there is any specific setting or button to turn it on and off but I guess you could have it between two settings (midway through the rotation between the first and 2nd settings) and that would hold back the water.
Question:	How do you make it work in different settings? I don't see a knob
Answer:	The outside rim rotates. I love mine.
Question:	What end of the hose hooks up to the shower head. The open end with a black gasket? Or the end with the white plastic piece and gasket? Please help
Answer:	The black gasket is the softer of the two, I attached that end to the pipe. Make sure you use plumbers tape on both ends.

Question:	Does this have a brass "color" finish or chrome like in the picture
Answer:	I had some noise going on, but fixed it by cleaning the screen inside
Question:	Does this come with teflon tape
Answer:	The threads on the handheld portion can be installed on an existing hose, but may need extra teflon tape to ensure a fit that doesn’t leak. I ended up swapping my existing hose with the one that SME with the shower head, and it works great! But be very careful to NOT over tighten the head to the hose if you end up using the Speakman hose, because the threaded female portion of the hose will crack (made of rigid plastic). If you use your existing hose, should be no problem.
Question:	What made you decide to get the 8 jet instead of the (less expensive) 6 jet? Thanks
Answer:	I installed this shower head for a friend and noticed the loose ball hinge, so I tightened it up tight so it was no longer loose. I have not showered with it so can't comment on it becoming tight when the water is on.
Question:	I'm short and am wondering if the entire head swivels? I'd like to be able to position it so it's pointed downward more. Thank you
