TIMER INSTALLATION

1.Unscrew and remove the waterproof cover. Carefully slide out the battery compartment in the front face of the timer.

Insert two new 1.5V alkaline batteries (size AAA) and replace the battery compartment into the timer face.

2.Test the unit by turning the RUN TIME knob from the ¡°OFF¡± position. You should hear the sound of the motor within 30 seconds.

3.If you do not hear the motor, check that the batteries are installed correctly

4.Whilst holding the unit steady, loosen the large locking collar ring located at the top of the timer until the tap connector collar is loose.

Screw the tap connector on to the tap until it is hand tight and the hand tighten the large locking collar ring. DO NOT use spanners or pliers to tighten the collars.

5.Connect your hose attachment to the male snap-on connector at the bottom of the timer.

Answer:	I am not certain exactly what you mean, but I can give you some measurements that might help. The distance from the end of the clamp to the face of the fixed jaw is about 0.71 inches, so the fixed jaw would fit into a 1" gap. When the back of the clamp is setting on the bench (standing up as shown in the product description photo), it is about 0.83" up to the top of bar. So the clamp bar would fit under something that is 1" clear of the bench. Hope this helps.

Answer:	So, you want to run 10am-noon, 1pm-3pm, and 4pm-6pm? This timer can't do exactly that. This timer is good for more regular intervals but for this rather irregular schedule you need a fully programmable digital timer. If you must run this schedule and you must use this timer then you'd have to use three timers running in parallel, one for each of your three two-hour intervals, each once every 24 hours.

Answer:	No. What comes in the box and what you see below on the Amazon site is all that there is. What you need to now is that there is no clock built into this timer. It is very easy to use. Decide when you want it to come on, and set it at that time. If you want it to water for 15 minutes every day at 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., then insert the two batteries beforehand. At 6:00 p.m., turn the left dial to frequency (12 hours), and the right dial to 15 minutes. It will not turn on at that time. IT WILL TURN ON IN 12 HOURS, AT 6:00 A.M. AND EVERY 12 HOURS THEREAFTER. If you interrupt the cycle at any point during that 12 hours, you will need to again re-program it AT 6:00 P.M. OR 6:00 A.M. This confuses everyone. Answer:	I just spoke with raindrip customer service at 888-825-4716 and the representative stated categorically that the device WILL shut off the flow of the water when the battery runs low. It won't get stuck with the valve open and waste water when the battery dies. I just had an Orbit hose timer fail and waste thousands of gallons of water so I inquired specifically about this before making a purchase. Incidentally, the technical support line answered the phone promptly - unlikely Orbit, where I waited on the phone for half an hour before giving up.

How to Install?

1. Take out the timer from the package carefully and there are 2 rubber rings, a top tap connector adapter, a quick connector, a mesh filter, a user manual and a installation guidance card inside.

Answer:	I can assure you there is no rating available as to high limit of ambient temperature at which this timer might fail.Considering cold water is running through it when valve is open, that should be a positive factor.Otherwise, you guess is as good as mine.

Answer:	No. It needs 20 psi to work. One foot of head equals 0.4 psi so your water tank would need to be setting on a 50-foot tower or hill to provide 20 psi.
Question:	Can you tell me how to turn off only the right outlet
Answer:	What I do is make sure there is no 'Time" nor 'Minutes" set on the side that I don't want the unit to use. You might need a small piece of wire to insert into the TINY re-set hole on the right side of the unit. Pushing this will clear the memory and functions. Or what I do is just take the batteries out for a few minutes and set new time and duration on the line I want to use.
Question:	Can this unit be set for twice a day (12 hours apart)- everyday and then the other side be used for manual watering
Answer:	It is easy to set for one side automatic and one side manual. The issue comes when it is left in the sun. Any prolonged sun exposure ruins the components and housing very fast.
