Question:	Can I use the tail pipe provided with the tub instead of the brass? Does this connect to a 1.5" abs p-trap
Answer:	I’m not sure if you can use the tail piece proved with the tub, I’d have to see the tail piece they provided. The question I have is, why wouldn’t you want to use the brass one? I think I’ve always used the brass piece. The brass piece is slightly rolled on the opposite end of the threads so it can slide into the rubber seal without ripping it. Yes, the bottom connects to an 1-1/2” p-trap that you will have to put in. Just to clearify, this is for a free standing tub, not a standard tub.
Question:	If the p-trap gets backed up, will the seal prevent leakage? I am nervous of the slip in connection and a few years worth of time
Answer:	Good afternoon, that is a valid question, although should be directed toward the manufacture. Most issues in a tub are due to hair clogs and generally are limited to the strainer in the tub, not the ptrap. You should recognize the symptoms of a pending clog well in advance of a backup. . You should never get to this point, having two daughters with princess hair forces me to be proactive and remove the hair buildup. Regardless, and in my opinion, the seal in the slip connection is tight, although would not prevent leakage if pressure where present
Question:	If I am laying cement board in between the plywood floor and tiles, do I screw the rough in to the plywood or the cement board
Answer:	I believe the directions with the product say to screw the rough in to the plywood. Mine is on the plywood, found that flat roofing nails caused less issues with the cement board layer than screws.
Question:	Will this work with 2” abs p-trap? States 1-1/2”/2” respectively in description, but want to be certain
Answer:	I used a 2” abs p-trap. No issues there. The hard part came when I selected a tub drain, which came with a perfect reducer for the threaded brass tail pipe ( as shown in picture). The reducer was plastic, and I wanted brass. The tub drain manufacturer would not replace nor sell me a brass replacement, so I ordered one from a third party. The ITD35 was easy to install, and suits my needs perfectly. Just be careful choosing a tub drain.

Answer:	Ours came with a chrome pop up but I see no reason why you could not replace it with an oil rubbed bronze one.

Answer:	The drain is located on the low end of the tub. In the tub itself the drain is not reversible, but underneath the tub the plumbing allows some flexibility.
Question:	Does it need some type of support at the base to prevent tipping
Answer:	Hi there, Our tubs are very stable, but a bead of caulking at the base is recommended and it will not tip under normal conditions.

Answer:	It would be hard to get in and out with an injury. Plus it does not drain well, you would need a lot of room for this tub.

Answer:	It arrives in a cardboard box. Packaged well, mine arrived in perfect condition.

Answer:	Mine is the same way. An it’s been just fine so far. My only issue at all with it is my second from the top around won’t stay aired up. But doesn’t have a hole an is always placed correctly so who knows

Answer:	For using on a non drained floor area. Say you got a crappy tub you don't wanna use, but wanna use this beside it and has enough space. You can use a portable shower pump (found on amazon here for around 20-40$ cheap.). Take the shower head off, and fill the non using tube with water till it reaches the suction head of the portable pump. Fill the blow up tube with the water. Easy. Do the same to drain, No need to drain using the bottom drain hole. You just reverse the pump to take the water from the blow up tub and poor it back into the main tub or shower or sink. But be aware this'll take probably 2x longer to fill/drain then having a shower head or flexible tub hose to fill the tub with, or to drain it on the floor with the bottom/front drainer holes.

Answer:	This Rough-in Kit measures exactly 4". The 1 1/2 traps usually measure 4" (be sure to check on that). So the answer is Yes.

Question:	I'm having a hard time snapping off the test cap, I'm afraid of breaking the plastic piece on top of the cap, any suggestions
Answer:	I just installed this the other day 5/3. Take a pair of vice grips and clamp down and then rock it back and forth.
Question:	The part number is for a pvc adapter but the description states it comes with an abs adapter, which is correct
