Answer: Dear, Before installing and fixing, use a hair dryer to heat it, this will make the tape softer and more sticky. At the corner, you can pre-fold it into a 90 degree straight and cut off the excess at the bottom. you will find the funny thing that the excess at the bottom is a small triangle. This will allow the tape to use one continuous strip.I hope it will help you,thanks.

Answer: You can’t it doesn’t work, I had to go to caulking. The tape doesn’t go around curves and expect it to work.

Answer: i would not use it for that purpose. when i have replaced it (every 2-3 years) it does leave a residue on the tub, wh/ is not nearly as porous as wood.

Question: How long is the shower holder thread? How deep should the ear drop be mounted
Answer: From what I can remember, the threaded nipple only stuck out maybe 3/4” of a inch. The face of the drop eared 90 would almost have to be flush with finished wall. Most times the 90 is further back in the wall. I took factory nipple out and replaced with a longer 1/2” brass nipple. It had a o-ring on factory nipple. I would reuse it on new nipple cuz the shower head 90 only has a few threads and just using Teflon tape probably won’t cut it. Mine started leaking after a month or so when I just used Teflon and dope. so I pulled it out cleaned it up and used the o-ring and it’s been fine for about 18 months. They should have designed shower 90 with deeper threads and no nipple. That way you could install your own nipple. That’s how most come that I’ve installed over the years. I hope this helps.

Answer: The screws were screwed into the ends. You have to unscrew them, assemble it and screw them back in. Super easy.
