As I measure the hook, the two inch figure seems to be from the top of the hook to the bottom of the button and from the front of the button to the backup the hook. Answer:	In the Medium holder I can fit 2 Garnier Fructis 13oz bottles OR 1 13 oz and 1 24 oz bottle OR just 1 of the large 34 oz bottles of shampoo. I personally keep my face wash, razor and scrub mitt (smaller things) in the holder as it is mounted in the front of the shower at about shoulder height and easily accessible. Hope this helps.
