Answer:	I've only had mine for a few months, so I wouldn't know about rust. I can say that they seem to be pretty durable. I have five kittens jumping and scratching at the screens to get to the birds on my windowsill, and yet the screens appear to be fine so far.

Answer:	No the window sits on top of the screen. However if you have an outer window and an inner window you can close the one the screen isn't in. So install the screen in the outer window and you'll be able to close the inner window.

Answer:	There is regular screen mesh on the inside. The louvers are very close together. When you place it in your window, put it with the louver side on the outside and the louvers facing down. The screen side should be on the inside. If you place them in your windows this way you won't get any rain coming in. I put them in my windows as soon as the weather starts getting nice and take them out in very late fall. They keep my attic nice and ventilated. Make sure you buy thermal king. They are very well made. Hope this helped.

Question:	Will this work on fiberglass as well as metal/aluminum screens
Answer:	Because this is largely Mesh with Tape adhesive, it will remedy any screen door repair. From the advert, I believe the tape to be non metal mesh, which may grossly appear slightly different on a metal mesh screen door. Hardly noticeable if the screen tear is minor.
Question:	For a screen door, do you apply the repair piece on the interior or exterior? How does it hold up in the elements
Answer:	I applied it on the exterior because it seemed that it would better hold the edges together, if the repair is not on an edge it might not matter very much. Thus far it has held up fine even in the rain
Question:	Is this tape opaque with a "screen" image printed on it, or is it actually screen material with adhesive on one side
Answer:	It is Transparent with glue on one side but from the other side when it is in use the glue does show through to some degree
Question:	Is this an actual screen or just an image of a screen on tape?? Real ventilation like a real screen
Answer:	This will not provide real ventilation. It’s real meah, but all the holes are covered with adhesive. Unusable for my needs

Question:	How can i get the corners to stay down without gluing it to the window frame? The magnets are not sticking in the corners
Answer:	With this model you can't unfortunately, unless you exactly measure out your frame before assembly the corners will fold up and not fit the brackets properly.
Question:	do i need to cover the entire window or just the part that opens? my windows 8 feet long but with a 2 1/2 by 3 foot screen opening on each end
