Answer:	Just tried this. After you've opened the lock, to lock it again you can either: - Scramble the numbers, then close the lock. Or - Hold the lock closed and change the code. The lock will not engage if you simply try to close it without changing the code.

Answer:	It has to do with a thief using a special key to bump the pins and pop the lock open. These are very secure but they won't fit everything. The shackle being hidden on the inside of the "puck" of steel makes it much harder to cut off.

Answer:	It hasn't fared well for us. We have an older one which held up for about 3 years before needing to be replaced. The lifetime warranty allows you only one replacement, so it really isn't a lifetime warranty at all. If you live near the beach, consider yourself lucky if it works for 2-3 years. That said, it is for outdoor use, just expect to lubricate frequently especially after rain or if you live near saltwater.

Answer:	Don’t put it in your drink or cook with it, if it mixes into your drink or food it could make you sick but I believe the report said you’d have to do that 834 times to have a negative affect on you. But on a side note I read just the paper from the Prop 65 rule could make you violently sick if you eat all the paper in just one setting.

Answer:	The app wants full access to your phone. The app will not work unless you let it have location access. This should not be necessary for a Bluetooth device. I would not trust the developer.

Answer:	I believe they give a year. We had a crazy rain/wind storm and water got into mine. They walked through my property management company on how to "fix" it, which was I think hair drying it out, and then "caulking" it to make it water tight again. I found that super sketchy as they wouldn't just send me a new one since theirs messed up .... pretty annoying.
