Question: | Can you plug a load to the controller without a battery |
Answer: | mine came with mounting brackets, wiring you need to buy from hardware store. |
Question: | To charge two batteries in series (24V) what is the minimum voltage input |
Answer: | had no problems with delivery. |
Question: | Having some issues. Do you know if this charger will keep the solar panel from discharging the battery at night |
Answer: | They didnt come with mine but it seems it's a hit and miss if there with the panel or not. Just open the panel and 10 or 12 gauge should work depending on distance. If its longer use 10 gauge. Solar panel should read around 28-32 volts. |
Question: | what temperature will this operate at |
Answer: | You should be using some sort of charging controller that would provide that. Im not sure about in the black box on the back without ripping mine apart which Im not willing to do. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you have this controller in 12v |
Answer: | This controller is also available in 12V. Here is ASIN number for it: B00BT7BQSS, just put it in Amazon search. Thank you. |
Question: | Will the 24 volt controller work on a 12 volt system |
Answer: | this will work on 12 volt it has it listed in sec on the page 12 volt 300watt |
Question: | I can not get it to show amps at all I have checked all the wire on the my system and nothing is wrong what can I try to fix this problem |
Answer: | First, is it charging your batteries? If it is then I would say the built in ammeter is faulty. If it is not I would say the unit is fried. Eather way I would replace the unit and do not attempt repair. Only after much trial, error, and let's not forget $$$. I found a supplier that sells far superior electronics for your system for "omg! They are practically giving the stuff away! " www.Missouriwindandsolar.com trust me these guys are the best! 45 watt poly solar panel for like $45-$50!Other than that if you were to try to attempt repair, I'm not quite sure where you could get "just this" or "just that" to fix the unit. Then your putting untested by the manufacturer electronics inside, sounds like a fire hazard to me, just saying. Basically I would replace. |
Question: | Will this controller protect if voltage gets too high? With this controller do i need a dump load or not needed with this controller |
Answer: | Yes it will it got a build in dump load in it when the voltage get to high |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this waterproof |
Answer: | Yes it can. |
Question: | DOES IT MATTER WHICH WIRES ARE CONECTED 1ST |
Answer: | Yes but the charge controller is junk. I would go with Renorgy. Ive had good luck with them. |
Question: | Can someone please direct me to the wires needed in the diagram? Particularly the wires to go to control board of the gate opener and the 12 volt bat |
Answer: | The controller is used so that the battery doesn't get over charged. sorry I dont know if it stops voltage back into the solar panel. |
Question: | wiring instructions |
Answer: | I'm not sure if you are asking if it has a stepper circuit. That can step up voltage from 6 volts to 24 volts. Is that what you are asking? What voltage and wattage panel are you using? My best guess on the answer since it does not state 6/12/24 volt controller just 12/24 controller is that it only steps 12 to 24. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be grid tied? If so what else do I need |
Answer: | You would need a grid tied inverter. I would also recommend some kind of electrical braking unit in the system too. Solar would be a lot easier, but it could be done. I'm using my wind generator in an off grid system that includes solar panels, that I'm quite pleased with, so I haven't worked through all the grid tied details. |
Question: | Does it come with mounting tower? And what about wind speeds above 25mph |
Answer: | It does not come with the tower and it will work fine with wind speed above 25mph. Thanks. |
Question: | Is there a voltage output chart vrs wind speed |
Answer: | Nothing that comes with it and nothing that I could find online or by calling Aleko. Midnight Solar has some for a few similar turbines and I plan on extrapolating from there. |
Question: | Is this item come with a controler |
Answer: | This one does not come with controller. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What size motor does this have |
Answer: | Not sure what size it is,but I have a 45 ft gate with 8 ft tall wood covering it. Opens and closes with out any strain love it. |
Question: | Can I only Buy the motor |
Answer: | Most components can also be purchased separately. Thanks for your question! Have a good one! Sincerely, BC |
Question: | How do I give first responders access to my gate code |
Answer: | You don't. You have to install a Knack box. (I think I spelled "Knack" correctly, but the fire department would know). The fire department has a standard key to all boxes and in your box would be a gate controller which they would use to open your gate. Typically the box is installed into a cut out in the gate or in a post on one side. OTOH in a small enough community they just may have everyone's controllers on a board somewhere. |
Question: | Can you mount this on either side of the gate My electrical is on the close side would that be ok |
Answer: | If you mean can you mount it on the left or right side of the gate...yes it can, the way the sensors are wired to the terminal block will determine what is open and what is closed be that to the right or left. |
